Purchase a new Subaru about two months. Right rear tire began losing air. Took in for service and found it had a nail and needed to be plugged. Charged $40. Had I gone to Discount Tire they would have plug began losing air. Took in for service and found it had a nail and needed to be plugged. Charged $40. Had I gone to Discount Tire they would have plugged for free. suggest on a brand new car with less than 2000 miles you consider doing a plug for free to create goodwill. More

Always get 5 star service at TWS. Needed a small warranty repair on a fog light on my Forester and it was done within an hour. Great customer lounge and service. Typically very responsive. This visit was frustrating. Did not hear back for a day or so and had issues checking out when finished. Hope it was just “computer issues” as I was told. I want to start by saying that I have been sending my friends to Tom Wood for a couple years now. I have been to the Light Meets, I've purchased parts there before, etc. And while this is not my first is friends to Tom Wood for a couple years now. I have been to the Light Meets, I've purchased parts there before, etc. And while this is not my first issue with the staff at Tom Wood Subaru due to poor communication or lack of communication, this time has been by far the worst. I recently sent an email to their parts department about a part that I needed to purchase. I asked three basic questions in my email. 1.) Asking them to confirm which bumper cover they were selling (due to the website showing three different styles in one ad). 2.) Asking them to confirm if it comes painted and if so, would it would be painted in the factory color code I provided? Lastly, if I did purchase it, if I would be able to come to the dealership to pick the item up in person? (on the add it just said the item had a fixed shipping cost and did not prompt a "pickup in dealership" option). 7 days pass by without a response. So, I send a follow-up email asking the same questions. I get a quick but very informal response, asking me to send them my VIN number. That's it. None of my questions were answered or attempted to be answered. I reply with my VIN and with essentially the same three questions again. This time I put the link to their parts ad into the email along with my color code and other information so they would have everything they need. 8 days have passed as of 08/28/20 without a response. There goes what would have been an easy $250+ sale. More
