To: Mr. Scott Reckley: I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but Tom Wood Subaru’s dishonesty has only been extended by your response. I identified right in my review the two people I dealt with about this for over 2 years. I wish Tom Wood Subaru would at least stop acting like it’s trying to clean up its act and honor these plans. Your claim to that effect mirrors the several broken promises to make this refund, one in particular. I made the last of my four attempts to get this promised refund through the Tom Wood Lexus dealership and I believe went to your office. Your office (quite amazingly) claimed that the refund was held up because you didn’t have the mileage on the vehicle I’d traded in. Didn’t have the mileage? I’d supplied that repeatedly and was always told the information was complete, AND Tom Wood HAD the vehicle. And what about a phone call or text if you actually needed more information. Missing information has nothing to do with Tom Wood's refusal to honor these agreements. If you really wanted to assure customers aren’t victimized by your “protection plans,” there’s a great, GREAT deal you could do besides offering these revolving misstatements that you’re missing important information. To everyone else: In my opinion, if you buy a protection plan from a Tom Wood agency, you’re paying dearly and deriving no protection from doing so. A C- answer for you: Don’t buy any protection plan from a Tom Wood Agency. An A+ answer for you: Don’t buy any vehicle from a Tom Wood agency.
