Great customer service but not pushy at all! Jamie was incredibly helpful throughout my car buying process. Over the course of a week I visited and called several times with many questions, and h Jamie was incredibly helpful throughout my car buying process. Over the course of a week I visited and called several times with many questions, and he was always quick to answer and very accommodating. When I came to actually buy the car, I was in a rush because I needed to catch a fight. Jamie worked with me to get things done quickly for me without cutting any corners, and definitely went above and beyond typical good customer service. Bought 2020 Forester - Everything was great I had a great experience at Tom Wood Subaru. This was my first time buying a car on my own and I was very nervous I wouldn’t know what all to do. Not great. I am going to try and make this as short as possible. I found a Kia Sorento that I really liked online while searching for vehicles. The one I really I am going to try and make this as short as possible. I found a Kia Sorento that I really liked online while searching for vehicles. The one I really liked was at Tom Wood Subaru. I clicked that I was interested in the vehicle and quickly got an email back from Chriss. I set up a time to meet with her on a Wednesday at 5:30. Once I got there she let me know that they were open until 8pm and she would be leaving at 7pm. I was waiting for my boyfriend to get there but since construction is so bad right now it took him almost 45 minutes to get there and he didn't get there until after 6. We took the car for a test drive and we fell in love with the car. We had to bring it back quickly, though, because she was going to be leaving soon. Once we got back we started on financing. She said that a lot of the banks were closed and she would let us know in the morning if we were approved. I explained to her what I was comfortable with my monthly payment being. She told me my payment would be a little higher than what I wanted, but I was comfortable with the price point since I owed more on my trade-in than it was worth. She called me back at 9:30am the next morning. She told me I was approved and asked if I would be able to come in at 5:30PM. I told her that I would try to be there asap. She sent me an email saying that she would be leaving at 7pm, but the financial advisor named Max would be leaving at 6pm and she needed to know if I would be there right at 5:30 and no later. I felt like this was kind of unprofessional since there is so much construction and they should be working around my schedule not their own. I told her there was no way I could guarantee that and apologized. I told her that I was on call that weekend for my job and wouldn't be able to come back until Monday. I asked her if they could hold the car until then. She emailed me back and said that the manager approved holding the car until Monday and told me that she made an appointment for us to be there at 5:30 and said we could get there sooner if able. Monday came around and we got there early at 5pm. I had to bring my small children with me because I assumed this would only take about 30 minutes. She was with someone once we got there so we got back in the car and waited. She came out and said that they only had one financial advisor today and there were two people ahead of us.. Even though we had an appointment. She then told us she was going to take the car to the car wash and was going to fill up the gas tank (which she didn't). She said as soon as she brought it back we could start transferring the car seats over into the new vehicle. We finally got everything moved over and went back inside. I look out the window and see she is already putting stickers on my car and taking it to the back of the building. Once she came back in, I saw that she dropped my keys off at service. At this point I am still waiting to speak with the financial advisor. I obviously was furious but just wanted to get this over with. We sat and waited until about 7pm (2 hours) until they were finally ready for us. Thankfully my kids were being great the whole time. We finally get with Max and he tells me that the payment is going to be a little higher than what we were originally told. I was mad because if I was told this on the phone, I would not have bought the car. I felt stuck at this point because it was late, my credit had already been dinged, and my car had already been sent to the back. I love the car so far, so I am thankful for that. I just feel like since we had an appointment, I should have been taken back to speak with finances before the other buyers. We had to work around their schedules this whole experience at Tom Wood. I will absolutely not recommend this dealership and I will never go back there again. Chriss was nice but you could tell that she just wanted the sale and was taking advantage of how nice my family was. They didn't care about us.. They just wanted their sale and that was it. Chriss called me today to let me know that she appreciated our patience in waiting a few hours last night. A minute after we got off the phone, I got the link for this survey. Tacky. More
