Right in the middle of a repair, I had a personal emergency that needed my quick attention (medical emergency for my dad). I bought a 2012 Nissan Xterra on 16 January 2013 from Thoroughbred Nissan, Tucson AZ. It was an excellent car-buying experience. The staff was knowledge and helpful. I drove the Xterra back from a ski trip in a driving snowstorm. About a third of the trip was conducted in 4 wheel-drive high at 50-55 mph. The truck was terrific. Stable and steady even on snow and slush covered rutted back roads. Excellent vehicle that does exactly what it was intended to do very well. thank you, Doug More

My wife called him "Mr. Happy Guy". He is very knowledgeable about the car that I am trying to get. He never pressured me into buying the car, but his explanations and expertise helps me to choose the car that I like. He helps me get financed even though I have a bad credit. The company also gives me a lower rate that no other dealer could, in spite of my horrible credit score. It is not my thing to comment but I really can't help it. I would stay away from this business. My experience was with the used car side. Went there to trade in a 2000 Nissan pickup for a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. At first they were great until it came time to fin with the used car side. Went there to trade in a 2000 Nissan pickup for a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. At first they were great until it came time to finance the vehicle. They said no problem and kept me waiting for 4 hours on a Saturday only with the salesman telling me the deal is almost done. They could never close the deal to finance the vehicle and said they would keep working on it and let me know Monday. I tried multiple times to contact them about the deal Monday but could not get a return call. I talked to Michelle who told me that I am not their only customer and that the person handling my financing was busy. Never did get a call back from him. I think they called him Diego. I remember him leaving around 6:00 pm the Saturday I was there saying he has another committment but somebody else was working on it. Right. Michelle is listed as business development manager. Not sure how treating a customer like she did is developing business but I will let someone else make that call. Maybe the deal was creditworthy and maybe it was not but my problem with them is their lack of concern for their customer. My salesman was off Monday and nobody else there seemed to care. Not sure if it is just their finance department or the whole dealership but I did not have a good experience. They seem to need some training in customer service at the very least. More
