I have been going to Thoroughbred Nissan for over 10 years and bought about 15 autos and trucks. I have never have a bad out come from them. I have never owned a Nissan but was looking for an affordable SUV. After a good experience online, I visited Thoroughbred Nissan and was overwhelmed from the moment I stepped out of my car by the frie affordable SUV. I was treated exceptionally well by John, the sales person and as I took my test drive with him, I was made very comfortable in a car I had never driven. The 2013 Juke I drove was all I had been looking for. After being treated so well by all of the staff, I was introduced to Thoroughbred's President, Oscar Campos who provided me with an exceptional deal. I had heard about the great leadership at Thoroughbred but had not met Oscar and all I heard was true and more. What a fantastic experience! I am preparing to pick up my new Juke as I write this and I have already recommended Thoroughbred to others. I highly recommend this dealership and am looking forward to a long relationship with Thoroughbred Nissan in Tucson, AZ. More

I located a fairly rare VW Diesel that they had on their used lot. Since I live in Phoenix I did my best to verify the condition of the car, and details prior to driving 2 hours down there to pick it up. I used lot. Since I live in Phoenix I did my best to verify the condition of the car, and details prior to driving 2 hours down there to pick it up. I ended up dealing with Robert Blevins, the internet manager. I asked him if he could put me on hold and go out to the lot to inspect the car. I asked him to walk around it, and then open the doors and see if it was clean and smelled ok. He did as I asked and reported back that "it was a really clean car, no smell of smoke or pets, and was a great used car". We negotiated a deal and I said I would be down to pick it up the following evening. I left work, and immediately headed for Tucson with the family to buy our new car! WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP CAR! I have honestly never seen such a rough car on a used lot at a major deal before. This thing was auction material at best. Hundreds of paint chips in the hood, a dent in the fender, and what looks like a run in with a pole or the corner of a garage on the drivers door. Not one of these flaws was visible in the photos on their site, and good ol' Robert failed to mention them to me when specifically asked. He must have thought once I made the drive I would just go ahead and buy whatever he put in front of me. I THINK NOT. I looked at the car for 30 seconds, told Robert what I thought of his customer service, got back in the truck and drove back home. 4 hours in the car, $40+ in fuel and not much more than a "well, it is a used car...". What a jerk. To follow it up, I wrote a letter via their website contact section about my experience, and did not hear one single thing back. Maybe you'll have better luck, but based on their overall Yelp review, I don't think so. More

My wife and I came to Throughbred to lease/purchase another Nissan to replace our 2010 Altima. Eric Encinas was our salesman. [sorry] not only made our purchasing experience a 'walk in the park' but fun. Signing the final papers took 'minutes' which is unheard of in todays' auto purchasing. I understand why employees have remained with Throughbred all these years because they treat prospective customers with respect, dignity and an honest concern what the needs of the customer are. In closing we now have three Nissans and when my grandson is ready for his car, wwe already know where it will be purchased. Thank you Webb Eliscu More
I must say that this was the best experience I've had with a dealership. To keep is short and sweet...Knowledgeable, friendly, easy going staff. If you need/want a new car by ALL means, go see the great folks Thoroughbred. They will do whatever is in their power to get you the car you want. After I left financing the owner even came and introduced himself and chatted for a bit...I've never had that happen. Very refreshing.
