My husband and I just bought a 2009 Elantra from Thomas today-we were really impressed!! Our initial contact was with Bob (who was very friendly and knowledgable)- he answered all our questions over the ph today-we were really impressed!! When we arrived at the lot today, it was two thirty in the afternoon; Bob handed us the keys (after minimal paperwork), and said he would be there until 5 o'clock-wow! No pressure!! When we decided we were going to buy the car, Bob handed the reins over to Shelly Gray-wow, again! Shelly called banks for over an hour to secure the best possible loan rate for us, and she didnt stop until she was satisfied with the result. Start to finish, we were at the dealership for a little over 4 hours-in that time we NEVER felt like we were out of the loop. What a terrific place to buy a car-we dont plan to shop anywhere else in the future. Many, many thanks to Shelly for "going to bat for us", to Bob for his great attitude (and $4), and to Shelly AND Bob for staying over an hour past quitting time to make sure we could drive our new car home today! More

Amanda Roth was a very knowledgeable salesperson who educated me on the Santa Fe that I was intereted in and ended up buying. She knew I was looking for a red SUV and did not try to persuede me to buy something I did not want like another dealership had tried to do. They are still e-mailing about this same vehicle. I was explained the warranty, which I did not have to pay an extra penny for. No other dealership could offer me this without more money coming out of my pocket. As far as price comparison, I looked at the Ford Edge and the Chevy Equinox. About the same size vehicle, but the Santa Fe was lower in price, plus the Santa Fe had a smoother and quieter ride. I love it and so does my family. I drove it all the way to Myrtle Beach and was very pleased on the handling of this vehicle and the gas mileage for this size vehicle. Sales experience was excellent. Jonathan stayed late and made sure he took the time to go over the car's features and set up the blue tooth for me. I bought a 2011 Subaru Forester XT off of Thomas Subaru. Perry was awesome (the salesmen)! He was very knowledgeable about the car and the Subaru brand. He was able to answer ALL of my questions concerning the car with out looking and the specs or a brochure. He was polite, corrteous, and very helpful. I bought a KIA months ago from a KIA dealership in MD (NEW) and it was a bad experience. Not only was buying the car a hassel, it broke down 9 times and i had to hire an attorney to decalre the lemon law because the manufacturer was unwilling to back their product. The dealer was NO help out at, saying "it was out of their hands". I didnt even have the car 2 months. It took my almost 9 months to get it resolved, 6 of which were spent in a rental on MY DIME because the automaker refused to help. Buying this Subaru from Thomas was EASY, and a very nice experience. I would recomend them to anyone. They are a small delaership who really does want their customers to be happy. I have only had the Subaru about 2 weeks, but i am SO HAPPY with it. Great gas mileage, fun to drive, great for carrying the dogs (2 100 pound shepherds) and just feels very solid! i am very pleased with the care and the service that Perry at Subaru delivered. If you want a Subaru, this is the place to go. I visited 8 Subaru dealerships from CUmberland, MD to Balrimore, MD and this is the dealership to go to. happy hunting. buy a subaru from thomas and be happy! More
My wifes mother suggested we check in Cumberland because prices trended on the less expensive side than those in the Baltimore and Annapolis area. This meant that, since I was not there, it would involve doing a lot of discussion and dealings over the phone before making a 3 hour drive out to actually see the car. As leery as I was at first, I do not regret working with Amanda or Thomas Hyundai at all. They were professional, efficient, and extremely helpful over the phone. All questions and concerns I had about the car Amanda worked through. At one point I even threw in the towel because what I thought I was looking for wasn't available. Amanda went out of her way to scour the inventory to see that the actual car I was looking for was on its way via transport and would be available later that day. For buying a car from a dealership that was 3 hours away over the phone, Amanda and Thomas Hyundai made it extremely easy and much less nerve racking. When we arrived at the dealership, the owner came out and greeted us, made sure we were comfortable and informed us that Amanda would be with us shortly since she was with a customer. As simple as this sounds, no other dealership that we visited in the Baltimore, Annapolis area did this. Some sales people were nice, others were just sales people. At the Thomas Hyundai, they actually treated us like people instead of sales cattle. More

WE HAD A REALLY GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THOMAS. TOM AND EVERYONE ONE ELSE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING. WE DID NOT FEEL PRESSURED AT ANY TIME, NOR DID WE FEEL THAT WE COULD NOT ASK AN EVERYONE ONE ELSE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING. WE DID NOT FEEL PRESSURED AT ANY TIME, NOR DID WE FEEL THAT WE COULD NOT ASK ANY QUESTIONS AT ALL. EVERYONE KNEW THEIR JOB WELL AND YOU KNEW THRY WERE THERE FOR YOU. WE TOLD THEM WHAT WE COULD AFFORD AND THEY REALLY STUCK TO IT FOR US. I HAVE BEEN TELLING ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN THAT YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. OUR DAUGHTER JUST WENT THERE TODAY AND BOUGHT A BRAND NEW SANTA FE FROM TOM AND SHE IS THRILLED TO DEATH. WE HAD BEEN LOOKING ON THE INTERNET FOR A FEW WEEKS BEFORE WE CAME TO THOMAS, BUT ONCE WE STOPPED THERE I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT I DID NOT WANT TO GO ANYPLACE ELSE.
