If you’re going to visit Honda of Joliet, make sure you make an appointment with Francisco. He was great to work with. He’s not your typical car salesman. I purchased a vehicle and within 2 weeks I ran into a concern/issue that I wanted to discuss the dealership. I spoke with Shawn (manager) and he was very dismissive and rude. He never asked me for my nam concern/issue that I wanted to discuss the dealership. I spoke with Shawn (manager) and he was very dismissive and rude. He never asked me for my name, phone number, what vehicle I purchased or any other basic information. He continued to talk over me throughout our conversation. It wasn’t until I brought this behavior to his attention that he then asked me for my information & then ultimately stated that he couldn’t “help”, as he has to “draw the line” on when he can and can’t help customers. I understand that there is only so much one can do, however, there was no genuine concern or compassion towards me as the customer. Very poor customer service skills. I would recommend speaking to another manager if possible, especially if you want your concerns heard. Still recommending this dealership because I had a great experience purchasing our new vehicle with our salesman, Manny, but definitely am not happy with how I was treated by the manager, Shawn. More
