I came to the dealership to look at the Honda Accord. I had not intended to buy anything, but Mr. Rodriguez was so friendly and knowledgeable concerning the Accord that I ended up buying one. Oren was the main reason we decided to go back to Joliet Honda for our new car. He is everything a salesman shouldn't be - he' not pushy, he doesn't play games, and worst of all, he's our advocate. When we needed to make a decision, Oren had given us space and time to talk through the different cars, different financing, and all the options we had available to us. In the end, we made a decision with confidence that the car and financing worked for us. We goaded Oren for every little bit of information we needed to make the right decision for us, and he never showed anything but genuine patience. Most dealers, we assume, would have kicked us out for all the time we took from Oren that day, but he has an innate talent to listen to his customers - a quality that is lacking in most salesperson. Even after the sale, he made sure to ask us back so he could show us all the ins and outs of the new car. The confidence he showed us in our car in turn gave us confidence in our choice. We're somewhat sad that this experience won't be repeated for some time, which was the promise implicit in the Honda brand, but when we are in need of a new car in the future, we only hope that we'll have Oren by our side again. Why did I give Josh Tornabeni and Honda of Joliet all 5's in their ratings? Let me just say that Josh and the team worked really, really hard to work within my already tight budget and with my poor credi 5's in their ratings? Let me just say that Josh and the team worked really, really hard to work within my already tight budget and with my poor credit history...they went above and beyond anything I ever would have expected. At one point he had at least 5 different staff members working on my case alone to see what they could work out for me. When I told Josh that I had a bad experience at another dealership, Josh told me that "Whether or not you choose to buy the car; we want you to have a GOOD experience HERE!". Josh and the entire staff that I interacted with were so encouraging, caring, and kind-hearted. I NEVER ONCE felt like I had an obligation to buy the car or felt "pushed into it" by Josh or Honda of Joliet at all; which is refreshing, especially because of my previous bad experience at the other dealer. Josh said at one point--"I'm here to help you, not force you into something you are not sure about." Josh is a straight-forward, no games, type of car salesman with over 13 years of experience. I would reccomend that you work with him because of his ability to bring kindness into the process; genuineness that one does not often see in this world, let alone at a car dealership! I am so thankful for Josh and all of his hard work throughout this whole process--and to every other staff member that was working on my case--I'm so incredibly grateful for this experience and I would definitely buy another car at Honda of Joliet! Chris and Josh were AWESOME. When the Civic I wanted was not available Chris and Josh moved heaven and earth to get it for me. Very very happy with my experience at this dealership. I was actually just stopping to look as I was on my way to a local Ford dealer. Wanted to look at the Accords and price them. Ed was absolutely wonderf was actually just stopping to look as I was on my way to a local Ford dealer. Wanted to look at the Accords and price them. Ed was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was not pushy at all like a lot of salesman I've encountered. I told him my reasons for looking and what I wanted as far as payments and type of car. He introduced me to the Civic but kept in mind I wanted the Accord. He immediately had my trade-in looked at so we knew where I'd be on that so we can move forward to see what car would be better for me as far as price and affordability. Once I found the car I wanted it was pretty easy going with Ed. Dan overheard my concerns about leasing a car and came over and sat with me and explained everything and answered all my questions and more. They gave me two different offers with leasing and then purchasing and explained the benefits of me leasing one. Ed actually went back after I voiced concern about price and came back with what I wanted and more. Ed and Dan were awesome to talk to and deal with. I would recommend them to anyone I know. I was even there after closing time and they didn't act like it was a burden. Ed was a very polite gentleman and went over everything in the car and helped me switch cars and also helped with some of the electronic stuff in Civic. Dan was just a down to earth friendly guy. He didn't act like he was some big shot car guy like I've dealt with in the past. Even the kid who drove my car out of the showroom and got it ready was awesome. I could not rate these guys or dealership under a 5 after the experience I had there. I look forward to dealing with Honda of Joliet down the road and I highly recommend everyone else go there.
