Stay away from this place I purchased a 2019 cr-v exl back in december '18 nothing but problems . Had to jumpstart 3 times before it had 200 miles. Has been in the service shop I purchased a 2019 cr-v exl back in december '18 nothing but problems . Had to jumpstart 3 times before it had 200 miles. Has been in the service shop 4 times now , 2 times for overinflated nitrogen tires and for fuel leaking into engine oil or" oil dilution" Dealership disposed of diluted oil without getting anylized as rick korallis says "sevice techs are not chemist" and changed oil and the fouled sparkplug from cylinder #2 and send it out the door with no fix for oil dilution but told to drive on highway at least once a week and oil dilution is normal .Fast forward a few days and cr-v backfires with 1044 miles on it. We were given a loaner and called back the next day to pick up our car and that our backfire claim is unfounded and there is nothing wrong with it. Was it touch with owner / GM rick korallis letting him know I was unhappy and wanted him to make this situation right . We wanted a vehicle with all safety feateures the exl model had but only passport or pilot had them without out getting another 1.5 turbo the cr-v had and that I'd have to pay the differance in vehicles. I never got into numbers with rick being that we didnt want to spend any more money. We paid over 36k total with extended warranty for this headache. I've filed a claim with NHTSA about this serious stalling issue from oil dilution and waiting on honda corporate to get back with me. Now rick korallis says its between me and honda now because I've reached out to NHTSA about safety issue and called honda . Now rick demands loaner back within 24 hrs and I cant keep their loaner hostage but service manager mark says we can pay for a rental from there !! No thanks. Ive purchased 6 vehiches from there over the last 13 yrs and this will be last. Be forewarned and stay away from this place at all means. Honda superstore of joliet is is where they treat you like family, its what you'll hear when being put on hold when calling rick korallis only to be picked up by john wise"guy" talking over you to quit talking that he is here to help me and that he practically runs the place for rick korallis. Treated fairly ! Honestly with some research on cars my wife and I narrowed our options down to the Honda CR V EX. Now this car would be our first ever owned Honda bu Honestly with some research on cars my wife and I narrowed our options down to the Honda CR V EX. Now this car would be our first ever owned Honda but we felt that the Honda CR V EX would offer what we are looking for in a car with gas mileage, safety, and value for the money. My wife and I worked with Liz Perez she was great ! The funny thing about how we met Liz was we just pulled into Honda of Joliet and was getting out of our car Liz and two other employees were walking by and LIz took the time to turn around and ask my wife if she could help us, my wife responded by saying "this is your lucky day " ! Like I said LIz was great, she brought up 2 different options of Honda CR V 's for us to test drive. Liz explained all the features of both cars to us so that my wife and I had a better understanding of each option of Honda CR V for what we were looking for in a car. I could go on and on and on but in short my wife and I felt we were given a good deal ! So, this is why I gave Honda of Joliet a five star rating and also sharing the five star rating is Liz Perez !
