On Friday, August 28, 2020, I purchased a 2018 Honda CRV from Honda of Joliet. I was told that a trained Honda technician put the vehicle through a comprehensive 182-point inspection. Within days I noticed from Honda of Joliet. I was told that a trained Honda technician put the vehicle through a comprehensive 182-point inspection. Within days I noticed a noise coming from the front driver’s side and faulty brakes. On Monday, August 31, I was back at the dealership to have the vehicle I had just purchased in for service. The dealership found the issue to be the tires and ordered new tires for my vehicle. This took more than two days after waiting for the sales manager Javier to approve the sale. I picked up my vehicle on Thursday evening, noticing that Javier purchased Advanta Tires (please click on Advanta for more info.) to replace the brand-new Bridgestone tires that were originally on the vehicle at the time of purchase. Looking online, Consumer Reports found the Advanta had an average tread life of 44,500 miles compared with an average of 71,000 miles for all the tires. Additionally, no US retailer sells these tires! At this point, I was very disappointed in the level of service and lack of attention to detail this dealership has taken. When I spoke with Javier he was very dismissive and gave a very inadequate explanation. As I drove the car home, I noticed the noise I was hearing before was worse. Now, I must make an appointment with another Honda dealer and purchase new reliable, quality tires. I left the dealership very disappointed. The next morning I found the owners of the dealership, The Korallus Family, who own Honda of Joliet, Honda of Lisle, and Infiniti of Naperville. I emailed the three members listed as owners. Mike Korallus of Infiniti Naperville was the only owner to respond to my email. After speaking with Mike, I felt more at ease. However, here we are Tuesday, September 7 and no resolution. I would have loved to write a rave review on how happy I am with my purchase, sadly that is not the case. This dealership is taking advantage, putting their consumers at risk. I cannot believe that this dealership purchased counterfeit tires to place on my vehicle, this is especially alarming since all of the vehicles on their lot have quality tires such as Bridgestone, Continental, and Michelin. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR ANY OF THE OTHERS THIS FAMILY OWNS. More

I have purchased many cars, used and new and I will NEVER purchase or recommend anything from this dealership. I purchased a vehicle at the end of June and it already needs 500 dollars in maintenance (which I'm told I'm not being ripped off on by the dealership). The 182 point inspection states it meets their standards, they just must not have good ones. This vehicle should not have any issues and was purchased to go on a family vacation. I drove 8 hours from Overland Park, KS to buy this vehicle from them and take it out to on vacation. It has had maybe 2 thousand miles or 3 max put on it. Not enough to do damage. I'm appalled at the lack of care I received. If someone would have simply acted like they care, I wouldn't have taken such issue, but I'm sure this is my fault. I need to specifically ask when the last time the transmission fluid was changed or when a flash update was done. It's my error to have believed I was dealing with people who actually want repeat customer business." More

They knew I was in a tight spot with my prior vehicle and yet didn't take advantage of that or make me feel pressured to buy that day. Instead, Mr. Laing listened to my needs and made sure to help me get a vehicle that I'll be able to rely on for several years to come. He called to check on me and make sure I was doing ok. He didn't seem like a salesperson who's there just to make a sale. He felt like he was taking care of a family member and truly helping me, even offering to come pick me up when I broke down on the side of the road on the way to my test drive appointment. I'll never forget his kindness and compassion. More
