Prior to visiting Honda of Joliet, we had gone to two other Honda dealers in the Chicago area. Neither one could even come close to the price offered by Honda of Joliet. In fact, Ted Turrisi originally other Honda dealers in the Chicago area. Neither one could even come close to the price offered by Honda of Joliet. In fact, Ted Turrisi originally quoted us a great deal over the phone. When I asked other dealers if they could beat it they said, "There's no way Honda of Joliet can sell the Odyssey to you for that price. They're just trying to get you in the door." Fortunately, that didn't happen. Although Ted had given us the original quote we ended up working with Richie Moffett because Ted wasn't there at the time. Richie Moffett honored the deal we had been quoted on the phone, with no haggling or "bait and switch." The sales people were very upfront about pricing and we got a fair deal on our trade-in. There were no games or pressure to purchase extended service plans or additional accessories for the car. The only thing we wish had been better was that our car was not programmed when we took possession of it. We had to program radio stations and enter the codes to get the AV console working. That probably should have been done for us, especially since the dealership wasn't very busy at the time. Aside from that small issue, we would definitely recommend this dealer. More

I was immediately shown a tired 4 square and upsaled vehicles that we would never be able to afford. I frequently felt as though we were to much work for many dealerships and their profit from us would be small and their hassle large. I was very frustrated until I researching Odyssey vans online and saw that only 100 miles away a dealership had the Odyssey we were looking for. I found Honda of Joliet not only pleasant but also excited to work with us. It was such a relief. They were thoughtful over the phone when negotiating a deal with us. When we arrived at the dealership they were just as wonderful. Mike took the time to negotiate a deal that was right where we needed to be. I would have driven 300 miles to have service like this. We will definetly be purchasing from Honda of Joliet from Mike when we need to trade in our other vehicle! We strongly believe that you should give Mike a call! He is young, knowledgable, and has a fresh attitude for customers looking to buy a new or used vehicle. More
I contacted Honda of Joliet due to the positive reviews here on Dealer Rater, and was not disappointed. The salesman I worked with, Jim London, was excellent in every way - very low pressure, knowledgeable here on Dealer Rater, and was not disappointed. I contacted him via email, found out they had just received a Honda Fit in the color and trim level I wanted, put down a small deposit, and drove out to pick up my car that afternoon. I found the car parked, freshly waxed, and fueled up, and I was back on the road with my new car after a short and painless transaction - with a nifty carwash kit to boot. They even cut me a check because they over-quoted me the price by some $40 dollars, due to a change in Honda's delivery fees that had just come through. There were no hidden options like some dealers like to 'include', such as pinstripes or cargo protectors to wrangle over. My only quibble was with the sales manager, who pushed the extended warranties a bit harder than I'd like - just be prepared to be firm that you're not interested. For me, it certainly wasn't enough to knock my overall experience down from 'great'. I haven't used the service department, since I live about an hour's drive from them, so I haven't scored them on that. It looked like a very nice setup, with wifi internet and computers available in the lounge, if I remember correctly. I strongly recommend Honda of Joliet to anyone as a great place to buy a new Honda, and particularly Jim London as the man to talk to. More

I had been looking for cars with my 19 year old son for about 2.5 months during the coldest winter months this year---I had no patience left and was just dreading having to talk to another salesman. But then I found this car on the internet and went to look at it and met Ron Schwinnin. He was THE NICEST salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was upfront, honest, funny and very easy to deal with. I had been shopping for a used car both by personal visits and by the internet for a week. I met many pressured sales people and salesmen who didn't seem to care what I wanted. I wasn't looking for a Honda but stopped at Joliet Honda to see their pre-owned inventory and met Ron Schwinnen. Ron was a breath of fresh air and was straight forward with me. He was helpful, honest and listened to what my needs and wants were. He made an experience that I was nervous and weary of, a pleasant and easy time. Even though I was pre-approved and planned to use my bank for financing, Ron and Suzanne were able to give me a comparable rate through their company. This just took out another step I didn't have to do which made this transaction more convenient for me. I have been researching the new Honda Pilot for over 6 months. I made my purchase last weekend and could not be happier. I sent internet inquiries to over a dozen Honda dealers in the Chicago area and I was lucky enough to connect with Jim London at Honda of Joliet. Jim is in the Internet sales department and he was great to work with. We were able to reach our deal without ever having to set foot in the dealership. Quite honestly, I was a bit leery that once I showed up to buy the vehicle, that something would have changed. It didn't. I must have sent Jim 50 e-mails with a TON of questions - and he answered them all - usually within hours of me sending them to him Once we settled on the options, color and price - I arrived a week ago to finalize the transaction. It worked out exactly as Jim had promised. No games. No gimmicks. A great Honda product and an awesome sales person.
