The salesman that I had was Oren Ferguson and he was able to answer all of my questions. He answered them quickly and was very very knowledgeable. It was the first time I had taken a test drive and he m able to answer all of my questions. He answered them quickly and was very very knowledgeable. Without a doubt would buy a car from here again. Sales staff was great, not pushy and easy to work with. Financing office was good as well. Great deal on a vehicle and very satisfied all around. Store is staff was great, not pushy and easy to work with. Financing office was good as well. Great deal on a vehicle and very satisfied all around. Store is clean, and my salesman was very patient since I had originally contacted him in Aapril and purchased in Sept. I was shopping around until I was sure of what I wanted. My salesman made myself and my wife feel like he was an old friend of the family and was definitely not sleazy in any way. He was down to earth and I could be frank with him about issues concerning the vehicle. Jst ask him how many porters can fit in the trunk. The dealership and salesman made an offer noone could beat right off the bat. Other dealerships were amazed at the deal and complained there was in no way Joliet Honda was making such an offer. Joliet did and they were honorable of the price. There were no sleaze ball tactics as if someone was buying the car that minute and I needed to fork over the moolah or forever never buy the car I had chosen. I would take the time to see these guys, and trust me, shopping here was a lot better than at other Honda dealerships. You feel welcomed and not like cattle. Salesman are not lined up waiting for you to pull in so they can *pounce* on you. More
The price paid reflected the lowest 25% of the Ridgeline's pruchased, based on internet data. I did not know this prior to purchasing the truck, but was an unexpected surprise. After purchasiung Ridgeline's pruchased, based on internet data. I did not know this prior to purchasing the truck, but was an unexpected surprise. After purchasiung the truck, I brought my son in to see the new Honda cars because his car was totaled out by a short bus (inside joke). He had performed his research as he works hard for the money (insert Donna Sommer joke here) and is quite frugal in his spending. His heart was set on a competitor's car, but since they did not have a black or blue model in stock, we kept looking. I stopped into Honda, and over his protesting that Honda sells little box-style cars, he agreed to look just to keep me happy. I introduced him to Mike (salesman) who had sold me the Ridgeline. Mike asked him a few questions on options, color, etc, and took Tony to a Crosstour located on the showroom floor. Tony fell in love with it immediately, but stated that he neded to keep looking because his heart really wanted a black one. Mike asked him to hold on a few minutes and returned with a black one, ready for him to test drive. Tony rode, returned and went into negotiations for the car. This took 5 minutes, being the time needed for Mike to walk to the manager office and return. He bought the car and has been so happy with it. My truck has been fun to drive and slowed down my driving. I did not know that gas mileage can change so much for a small change in driving habits. Slowly starting from a stop can change the gas mileage from 16 to 20 miles per gallon over the tank. I love my truck, even more than my previous F150 that had almost 200,000 miles before I traded it. Honda, thanks for the best car buying / driving experience to date. Ralph Fenili Joliet, IL More

I bought my 2011 Odyssey at Honda of Joliet after checking 3 Honda dealers closer to my home in Naperville - this is the 2nd Odyssey I purchased at this delaership, and the reasons remained the same: checking 3 Honda dealers closer to my home in Naperville - this is the 2nd Odyssey I purchased at this delaership, and the reasons remained the same: competitive pricing, knowledgeable staff, and low pressure. In fact, all 3 of the other dealers pressured me to "put money down" on deposit for a van they did not have on the lot (I was VERY specific as to the model, trimline, and color of the van my wife wanted). Another aspect that works in the favor of Honda of Joliet is the more personal and "family-owned" feeling one gets working with the sales and service staff, which is certainly NOT the feeling one gets from Valley Honda, for instance. I was recommended by Craig Dixon to see Josh Tornabeni at Honda of Joliet. In the past, looking for a car has been something that I have not looked forward to as my past experiences have not always been ple Honda of Joliet. In the past, looking for a car has been something that I have not looked forward to as my past experiences have not always been pleasant. This last experience has changed my attitude. The professionalism that Josh brought to the table was very impressive. His knowledge of not only the Honda autos, but competitor autos was englightening. His honesty on pros and cons to each vehicle I was considering was refreshing. Josh was very patient as I determined what vehicle I would purchase. Those things I appreciated and made my car buying experience very pleasant. Everyone one I encountered at the dealership was nothing but friendly and courteous from the other salesmen on the showroom floor, to Dan, their finance manager. I would highly recommend! Thank you Josh, Dan and Honda of Joliet More

WARNING: Do NOT do business with Honda of Joliet!!! On WARNING: Do NOT do business with Honda of Joliet!!! On September 10, 2011, my husband and I had stopped in to the Honda Superstore to test drive a WARNING: Do NOT do business with Honda of Joliet!!! On September 10, 2011, my husband and I had stopped in to the Honda Superstore to test drive a Honda Pilot. We were considering a vehicle purchase but were not in dire need of a vehicle. As we began to look at the Pilot, Mr. Oren Ferguson approached us. From the beginning he was not very professional (no introductions, disorganized, slow moving, etc) but no the less, he took us on a test drive. It should be noted that the dealership allowed an employee to use the vehicle for personal errands. The car was disgusting – leaves were everywhere (he had moved trees/bushes), garbage, candy stuck to floormats, etc. During the drive, Mr. Ferguson was rude and dismissive of any questions – maybe he didn’t know the answers?? – and kept stating that “we would know the everything we needed to before we left the lot with the vehicle”. Upon returning to the dealership and waiting a long time with our three young kids, we finally received an appraisal for our minivan (with 72,000 miles on it). We were shocked at the low ball offer and began to question Mr. Ferguson. He immediately became defensive and began yelling and screaming how ignorant we were for not having done our homework (blue book value)before coming in. We began to leave, when I decided to go into the dealership to find a manager – Andrew Brick. Although he was witness to Mr. Ferguson’s tirade (which was still going on – in fact, two employees were holding him back), Mr. Brick was completely useless. On Monday, I decided to locate the owner of the Honda store, Horst Korallus. You may not be aware but many of the Honda stores in our area are owned by the Korallus family. Mr. Korallus was willing to listen – and for the first time since the incident – someone had apologized for what our family had to endure while car shopping. He assured me that I would hear from his son, Rick, and that Mr. Ferguson would be dealt with appropriately. Days later, I received a call from Mr. Brick, as well as from Rick Korallus, however, there was no real substance to the conversations since we were no longer willing to purchase a vehicle from them. F.Y.I. I was told that Mr. Ferguson was having some personal issues, which I guess was the excuse for his behavior. Since this incident, I have researched the dealership to find that this type of behavior has occurred previously (do a search). Mr. Orin Ferguson is still on staff – UNBELIEVABLE – not sure what you have to do to get fired in a customer service field like car sales. However, we are happy to say that we have purchased a Honda vehicle from the Naperville/Aurora Honda dealer. The prices and definately, the service is better!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM HONDA OF JOLIET!!! I KNOW WE WILL! More
