Here at The BMW Store we’ve done a lot in over 4 decades and are very proud of our past and looking forward to an incredible future. Our customers have taken us a long way but here’s a little bit about how it all started!
It was in 1979 that Tom Schwartz obtained his franchise from BMW. Prior to that, he had been deeply involved with BMWs as a technician. From 1971 – 1976, Tom ran an independent service repair business called The BMW Store. With those roots, his dealership has always placed a premium on customer service with the goal of assuring customers a hassle-free ownership experience. Today, nearly 125 employees at The BMW Store are dedicated to helping people discover the joys of driving a BMW.
There’s a highly trained, knowledgeable sales staff for both new and pre-owned BMWs, an inventory of over 100 new and pre-owned BMWs is maintained to provide excellent selection, and master technicians head service teams specialized in the various operating systems of BMWs. Our extensive assortment of well-maintained pre-owned cars are showcased in our state-of-the art Cincinnati showroom. These include BMW models, as well as those made by other marques. I was sold a "warranty extension" and 2 1/2 years later told it really was only a "maintenance plan". I have left a message with the person (Chico) service recommended I talk to. 1/2 years later told it really was only a "maintenance plan". I have left a message with the person (Chico) service recommended I talk to. I was told he would help me with this issue. He never returned my call. I sent a letter to my salesperson (Jay Sofranec) and the Mini manager (Michael Ingram) to get help. They never contacted me. Then I sent a letter to Richard Winterman, general manager of the BMW Store. He had sent a generic email asking about my recent trip with service. I replied using the "No, your team has not attempted to contact me to get my concern resolved.". Still no contact. So I sent letters directly to his office and to this date no one has called me. This can only lead me to believe that it is common practice for them to sell the "maintenance plan" as an "warranty extension" plan. Not impressed. More

Paul is a friendly, experienced professional who exceeded my expectations as a salesman. This was my first time buying a BMW so I had many questions about the new X3. He was patient answering my questions my expectations as a salesman. This was my first time buying a BMW so I had many questions about the new X3. Darrin was fabulous. I really hated my current car but was limited on price, financing, etc. He helped me find the used car I liked and then was so professional in every way. The follow through there was was limited on price, financing, etc. He helped me find the used car I liked and then was so professional in every way. The follow through there was tremendous and all happened very quickly. Darrin followed up the next day to make sure I still loved my car! Thanks so much for a great experience. Even though I am 57 I still hate buying a car by myself as a single woman. More

Darrin and team made the 775 mile round-trip drive to pick up my new car completely worth it. Trade value and new car sales prices that were negotiated over the phone, were honored in person with no last pick up my new car completely worth it. Chico had all the paperwork ready to go for me so I could get back on the road without a lenghty delay. Overall, one of the most painless car buying experiences I have ever had. Susan Ward & Steven were both wonderful. I walked in looking for a convertible, changed my mind about the model at least 20 times; after driving everyone crazy running all over finding options & keys I looking for a convertible, changed my mind about the model at least 20 times; after driving everyone crazy running all over finding options & keys I decided on the Countryman. Steven was an excellent stand-in with Susan busy helping another customer; he spent a lot of time showing us me lot of options. I must have driven 10 cars that evening. Susan was as excited as I was when I finally reached a decision, we both love the car; she has been so helpful, patient and generous with her time. I’m very happy with my selection and now that the rear bike rack is attached summer is perfect. More
