Here at The BMW Store we’ve done a lot in over 4 decades and are very proud of our past and looking forward to an incredible future. Our customers have taken us a long way but here’s a little bit about how it all started!
It was in 1979 that Tom Schwartz obtained his franchise from BMW. Prior to that, he had been deeply involved with BMWs as a technician. From 1971 – 1976, Tom ran an independent service repair business called The BMW Store. With those roots, his dealership has always placed a premium on customer service with the goal of assuring customers a hassle-free ownership experience. Today, nearly 125 employees at The BMW Store are dedicated to helping people discover the joys of driving a BMW.
There’s a highly trained, knowledgeable sales staff for both new and pre-owned BMWs, an inventory of over 100 new and pre-owned BMWs is maintained to provide excellent selection, and master technicians head service teams specialized in the various operating systems of BMWs. Our extensive assortment of well-maintained pre-owned cars are showcased in our state-of-the art Cincinnati showroom. These include BMW models, as well as those made by other marques. Service charges are one of the highest in the nation of all BMW dealerships. Second, I had to bring my car back because it was not repaired properly the first time. Great purchase experiance. Great salesman, great service dept., incredibly happy with my new Mini Cooper. Actually a better car than I dreamed it would be. Have wanted a Minui for over 40 years. Chris did a good job making sure that I understood which "deal" would be better for me--buying or leasing. As it turned out I ended up leasing an X5 for 39 months. The cost of the car was about 61k and I wa "deal" would be better for me--buying or leasing. As it turned out I ended up leasing an X5 for 39 months. The cost of the car was about 61k and I was allowed 18k on my 2005 X5. Financially speaking, the deal was not the greatest one but I wanted out of the current car and I was willing to give up my equity just to be rid of a real lemon of a car. Overall I would rate Chris as a 4 plus. He has only been selling for two years and again he did a good job recognizing what I needed to do and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to deal with an honest young man. More

I was sold a "warranty extension" and 2 1/2 years later told it really was only a "maintenance plan". I have left a message with the person (Chico) service recommended I talk to. 1/2 years later told it really was only a "maintenance plan". I have left a message with the person (Chico) service recommended I talk to. I was told he would help me with this issue. He never returned my call. I sent a letter to my salesperson (Jay Sofranec) and the Mini manager (Michael Ingram) to get help. They never contacted me. Then I sent a letter to Richard Winterman, general manager of the BMW Store. He had sent a generic email asking about my recent trip with service. I replied using the "No, your team has not attempted to contact me to get my concern resolved.". Still no contact. So I sent letters directly to his office and to this date no one has called me. This can only lead me to believe that it is common practice for them to sell the "maintenance plan" as an "warranty extension" plan. Not impressed. More
