The worst Ive ever seen! I bought a brand new '15 Sonata. First off they tricked us into buying the extended warranty. Why? I thought all new Hyundai's have a 100K warranty? A I bought a brand new '15 Sonata. First off they tricked us into buying the extended warranty. Why? I thought all new Hyundai's have a 100K warranty? Anyway, $1300 for the warranty. Whatever. With 39K miles on it the car was under 3 or 4 recalls. They wanted the car brought to them, left for an indeterminate period of time, and would call when ready. I asked about a loaner and they said they dont offer that but I could rent a car on my own and try to be reimbursed for it. xxxx no! This car was bought July 10th 2015, on Dec 31st 2016 it was traded for a new Nissan Altima. The Hyundai had 39448 miles on it. I didnt have this car for even 2 years before it was a total piece of junk. Now, we are trying to get refunded for the GAP ($895) and Extended Warranty ($1300). Terry Reid has received all paperwork, letters, and signatures needed to issue refunds. They will not take my call nor return phone calls. Its getting to the point where I will have to get a police report (anything over $500 in GA is a felony) and press charges for felony theft and fraud in order to get the refund that Im due. PS - Not all GAP nor Extended Warranty will be refunded. Ok, the GAP was used for 39K miles so they are prorating for that, BUT the Extended Warranty never went into effect due to the miles being under 100K. I asked why is the Extended Warranty being prorated too. They said because the 100K mile manufacturer warranty DOES NOT COVER ELECTRONICS. WHAT??????? Total scammers at this place. Im sure most Hyundai dealers operate this way, they have to because they know their products are JUNK! Sadly I will be contacting Bartow County Sheriff for a police report and will be pressing charges against Terry Reid Hyundai. Its the only way to get your money from these people. More
