Buying a new car is often akin to having root canal. I'm pleased to announce the dentist has left the building. This past Saturday, 6-30-2012, I purchased a Hyundai Sonata from Team Hyundai. I had spoken to Brian that morning on the telephone, told him we had met about 2 months earlier at the dealership, and asked him to work up a quote on a Hyundai Sonnata. I arrived at the dealeship, Brian as promised had the quote prepared. Price hassel-gone-went for a test drive in the vehicle I was purchasing, returned to the dealership, met with John (? credit manager) and incurred the 2nd pleasant surprise of the day. Sitting down with credit people is not usually a fun task. This was. Completed paperwork and had time for some general conversation, even a few laughs (yes in a credit office). The financing process was also smooth and straightforward, and the loan officer was also generous with his time, and able to explain the relevant parts of each option well.
