I was looking for a compact SUV to replace my Jeep Liberty (purchased new in 2003). I looked at several different SUVs and lastly I looked at the Hyundai Tuscan. Once I drove the vehicle, I made my Liberty (purchased new in 2003). I looked at several different SUVs and lastly I looked at the Hyundai Tuscan. We stopped by Toyota with the intention of test driving a RAV4. We were meet by Ernie Baud. Although busy with other customers he was able to bring around a RAV4 for us to test drive. When we returned to the dealership we were unable to locate Ernie. After standing around the parking lot for 10 minutes we went into the showroom and stood at the front desk for another 5 minutes waiting for Ernie. We ended up speaking to another employee who told us Ernie was with another customer doing paperwork on a car sale. I was a little put off by the fact that Ernie engaged us when he was currently working with another customer and unable to assist us. At this point we decided to head over to Hyundai. One of the Toyota employees was nice enough to give us a ride to Hyundai and asked Nathan Martin if he could assist us, From the outset Nate was very professional and extremely friendly. His knowledge of the Hyundai fleet was extensive and he was able to answer all of questions. Generally I loath the car buying experience. However in this instance I found working with team Hyundai to be enjoyable. The entire team we worked with at Hyundai went above and beyond with their time and patience during our car buying experience. I will absolutely recommend Hyundai and specifically Nathan Martin to friends and family. Customer service is becoming a lost art. Nathan Martin should be commended for his efforts. More

This location and the people that work there have drastically changed my opinion of car salespeople. Normally, I hate the process of buying a new car. What I really want is to BUY a car, the car that I want and not the car the salesman wants to sell me. With Team Hyundai of Lexington Park, it was totally different. I was met at the door by a representative that introduced himself to me and asked what I was looking for today. Although my guard was already up (he was a salesman after all!), he seemed reasonable and wanted to help me. I asked to see a few cars and the dealership was stocked with a nice representative sampling of the car models Hyundai offers. I looked at a few and did a test drive of an Elantra manual transmission. They didn't take my old car keys away from me to "appraise it". Instead, I was told to take it for a ride and there wasn't any hurry. Give it a good ride to see if I liked it. My satisfaction was important to them. How crazy is that? Turns out that I didn't like that particular car for a few reasons, but I liked the way the Elantra felt. In fact, I liked it so much I decided to buy one! I found another with automatic transmission that was really to my liking. I got a price for the car that I thought reasonable, I asked them to accept my old car in trade and only then did they need the keys. I didn’t feel like a “hostage” at any time while I was there. I was given a good rate for the loan and I was able to walk out with a new car and my blood pressure normal and feeling good about the experience. Although I was told about extended warranties, I was in no way pressured to buy it or anything else they offered. I’ll have to add that the salesman went over all the extras in the car. In particular pointed out how the Bluelink worked (I think that was the name for the OnStar type of thing), he setup my cell phone for Bluetooth connectivity to the car, and gave me a free oil change. I’ve told others of my experience and they had already heard good word of mouth about this dealer and also Hyundai. It just shows that word of good experiences spread as well as bad experiences. Nate did a great job of finding the vehicle I wanted and getting it transferred from another dealer in time to meet my needs. He did that without even making me put down a deposit. After checking with several dealerships on line, I talked to my neighbor, Robbie Anderson about possibly buying a pre-owner vehicle. He told me they had several, but that he could get me a new vehicle for a little more, with rebates, etc. I drove to the dealership and test drove a new Hyundai Sonata, and liked the way it handled, and the many features that came as standard, and decided to buy a new vehicle. I am pleased with my purchase, and found Robbie and the sales team to be friendly, efficient and easy to deal with. I am happy I made the decision to deal with the dealership, and will recommend them to friends in the future. Mike kovach More

He straightened out some prior issues we had encountered awhile back and we were thus comfortable enough with his technical ability, professionalism and courteous demeanor to give Team Hyundai the additional opportunity to excel in selling us the new one. And our salesman, Brian Rhodes, did a fantastic job for us! He knew the vehicle well, and professionally worked to earn our business, never demonstrating a pushy or obnoxious demeanor. I will recommend Brian and Jerry and Team Hyundai, in general, to anyone interested in a new vehicle purchase or outstanding service to a current one. More
