The dealership had several opportunities to do the right thing. They had several opportunities to offer some semblance of customer service. Instead, I had to DRIVE OVER THERE to make an appointment because no one answers the phone in the service department. I was told to come at 7:30 the following Monday. No one asked my name or # or contact information of any kind. I showed up and they topped off the oil. They had me drive 1000 miles and return to PROVE it was consuming oil. Ok. Then they topped it off a second time so I could do it AGAIN. They significantly OVERFILLED the oil. I checked it when I got home. I had to GO BACK so they could fix that. Then return after another 1000 miles. It was determined that (surprise, surprise) it was low on oil. They then changed the valve cover gasket and oil pan seal. Then said they needed to talk to corporate to determine the next step. The car NEVER LEAKED OIL. My mechanic saw ZERO evidence of a leak or of it burning . The repairs were a xx delay tactic. They were UNNECESSARY and another WASTE OF MY TIME. I was told there were 32 cars with the same problem that they were currently dealing with. If that’s the case WHY did it take DAYS to hear from corporate to determine the next step? Shouldn’t there be STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES????Oh wait, let me guess. Because it’s all horse crap being made up as they go along. I kept hearing how they were my “advocate “ . They were there to get it taken care of for me. The ONLY thing anyone there is advocating for is their own damned paycheck. And, that at the INCONVENIENCE and MISFORTUNE of their customers. These guys work on commission. The more “repairs” they do , the bigger their paychecks. Like I said previously, nothing but a lot of hoops to jump through when ultimately they KNOW what they should be doing . They have NO CONSIDERATION for the fact that you have NO vehicle to drive while they’re screwing around with the turd they sold you. You bought it, it’s YOUR problem. As previously expressed, SUCK IT.
