Horrible experience with Tameron Hyundai. Probably the worst I've ever had with a car sale, and that's saying something. I purchased a 2017 Santa Fe Sport, and one of the features I was looking for was Android Auto support. The vehicle was advertised as having the feature, and while a little dirty, seemed otherwise fine with the promised cleaning and detailing that Brooklyn offered upon purchase. After purchase, the car went through cleaning and detailing twice and returned as if they hadn't touched the vehicle; the dash was completely covered in a greasy film, and splotches were all over the windshield, side windows, and roof window. Grease smears were on the dash. After bringing it in a 2nd time for cleaning, with each trip being 50 miles, and the detailing crew failing to clean these things, I resolved to do so myself, but discovered that the car seemed to have a defective USB, Head Unit, and/or Android Auto unit. I brought it in two more times, once to just be told to come back later and another where I had to leave it for an entire month. The USB was replaced and fuses checked, only to find that AA still wasn't working. The tech (Walt) told me that he called Hyundai Support and said that my phone (Galaxy Note S20) was too new to be supported by the car. I tested it with three other phones, including a Moto G2 and a Galaxy S8 (the latter released in 2017, the same year as the car), as well as a Bluetooth Adapter, and none of those worked, either. Apparently, a tech's Iphone worked, but no android devices would. I mentioned that it sounded like a defective head or AA unit, and the tech just fast-talked past me and said he'd go to SoundsGreat to see if they had any ideas. SoundsGreat also suggested it was a defective head unit and would need to be replaced. Instead of doing anything with the head unit or AA unit, the tech then proceeded to spend 3 weeks chasing problems that didn't exist, such as trying to order and find adapters and usb cords so my phone could connect to them as a stand-in for bluetooth, even though I told him several times that the bluetooth was fine, it was specifically the android auto feature. When we finally came and picked it up, since we weren't getting any updates or fix information from the technician after the first two weeks (I stopped receiving calls from him and specifically had to call after him repeatedly), I found out that they had essentially just left my car out in the lot and drained its battery so it wouldn't start. They also threw away a gel pad that I used for my bluetooth adapter. Not only did they lie about whether the car supported a feature or not (according to their tech support, the 2017 SFS would not support AA for any phones anymore because of amperage issues), but they spent a month NOT fixing the problem I asked them to, and even returned my car in worse condition than when I left it with them. Legitimately and hands-down, the worst experience I've ever had with any car company, dealer, or sale. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. More
