I took my car in for the 5,000 mile service. I called to make an appointment and was given lots of details. I drove up at the appointed time, got right in, and spent two hours (exactly what I was told) in t make an appointment and was given lots of details. It was easy to spread out for social distancing, even though there were a lot of people, because of the way the chairs were arranged. When the work was completed, I got a great informative report. There was a recall of a part on record, and that was taken care of as well. All-in-all, a very good experience. More

My first oil change ever by Toyota on my Toyota 86 went great! No wait upon arrival, no cost and done in an hour. Plus everyone at Swickard Toyota is very friendly & helpful. Took my van in for a scheduled appointment at 11am. Was told it should be ready by 12:30. Said that I'd be in the lobby and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait. When I inquired about what was going on at told it should be ready by 12:30. Said that I'd be in the lobby and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait. When I inquired about what was going on at 1:45, I was told it had just gone up on the lift and would be another 30 to 45 minutes. To their credit, and the reason they got 2 stars, the service was done by 2:15, and they did not charge me for it. What's the point of scheduling service if it's not going to be done at the scheduled time? If they had come to me at any point and told me they were that far behind, I would have rescheduled. Instead, I missed two other appointments that can't be rescheduled for another month at least. Not loving the new ownership/management. Not sure if they'll get another chance from me. Maybe in a few months I'll feel more forgiving, but today I'm unhappy with how things went down. More
Individuals who work at this dealership are great. The passion, knowledge, she level of service are amazing. I used to love Magic Toyota, which was the old management. Now Swickard Toyota has lost the customer touch. It seems to be very focused on the money vs. the customer loyalty. I was in just today a management. Now Swickard Toyota has lost the customer touch. It seems to be very focused on the money vs. the customer loyalty. I was in just today and in the past, when agreeing to services over $1k, I normally would be offered a complimentary volume bonus for bringing a good amount of business. Now, that has gone away. Additionally, as I sat and waited for my car to be maintenanced, I was rudely asked by the sales staff to get out, after being graciously given a desk by the maintenance staff so I could work while they did maintenance. After this episode, I watched the sales staff chum it up, make light of COVID-19 while not taking precautions, and make harsh jokes, creating a very in inviting atmosphere. Sadly, while I used to plan on buying a rig from this Toyota dealership in the past, I don’t really have any desire to return for service or for a new vehicle, after 8 years of consistent patronage. More
