Outstanding!! Our intent was to acquire a vehicle for my wife to use. We wanted something safe, reliable, and equipped with the comfort features we like. Toyota101 is certainly not the fanciest dealership in the Bay Area, but the our salesperson (John) was very knowledgeably, listened to our requirements, and found the perfect vehicle for our needs. We did not have to do a lot of negotiations to get a great price, and we were not pressured to buy a lot of unwanted extras. All of the questions we had were answered, most very quickly and in a couple of cases where the person didn’t know, they went and got the real answer rather than blow us off or make something up. I was pleased that they presented us with both used and new options as choices for our consideration. We ended up with a 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum. We expect to get many years of enjoyment and reliable service. More
Misleading and not timely service Originally quoted 252.40 for my 35k service. Sounded fair. Dropped my car off at 10AM and was on my way. I was given an estimated time of completion o Originally quoted 252.40 for my 35k service. Sounded fair. Dropped my car off at 10AM and was on my way. I was given an estimated time of completion of 5 hours later (3PM). I did not receive any update at 3PM and 6 hours later (4:14PM), I was texted that my car was almost done, BUT the tech said that my care NEEDS new brake fluid and the fuel injector and throttle body cleaned and I needed to let them know if they could proceed SOON. I was quoted 169.90 for the brake fluid and 269.95 for the EFI and throttle body service. Since the tech said that my car NEEDED the service, I consented. I was then told my car "WOULD BE READY AT 5:30". I didn't hear anything at 5:30 regarding an update on my car so I caught an uber and arrived at 5:45 to see if my car was done. Since the service center was closing soon after I came to pick up my car I paid my service fee and was on my way. I am thankful that I arrived when I did because I finally received a text at 5:53 (7 minutes before closing) that my car was finally ready for pickup and it could be picked up anytime before 6PM. I was given a 7 minute warning to find my way back to come pick up my car. The text also said I should come see the tech before I picked up my vehicle to review the multi-point inspection. I had already left by the time I received that text and the service center was closed by the time I got home to ask about the items on my invoice. When I got home to take a look at the invoice, I was shocked to see that the labor for the added jobs was 80% of the total cost of those services. Labor for about 1 hour of work (4:19 to 5:30) was $355.54! (215.54 for Fuel Service and 140 for brake fluid exchange) I cannot wrap my head around how labor to do that work was itemized since those figures seemed insane. The parts for those added on services only amounted to about $85 and the HOUR to perform those services was $355. If I had known the breakdown ahead of time, I would never have consented to this. I have been a loyal customer for years coming back for every service on my car. I will not be coming back here and cannot in good faith ever recommending anyone to get their car serviced here. More

I paid my bill I line and responded to the text message reminding them of my request. Want to guess what happened when I showed up to get my car after hour? The best part was when I came back in the morning and explained the team of my disappointment. It turned out it was my fault! I didn’t talk to the right person. Toyota 101 management should review how their employees treat their customers. More
