I mistakenly sold my amazing 1999 Forerunner after 15 years of loyal service. Looking for better gas mileage, I downsized to a Ford Escape Hybrid... But, after 2 years, had to get back to another Toyota midsize. Looking for a used Highlander and leery of dealerships (1988 Jeep, Redwood City), I went through the Costco Auto Program. Registered at Costco with my choice of make/model, was redirected to Toyota 101; had an appointment with Jun Javier in a few hours; drove the Highlander, traded in the Ford, got a loan, drove home. All within 3 hours. Got the SUV I wanted at a reasonable price in a pretty painless process. Thank you Jun for working with me! Love my Highlander. More

Certified Vehicle buying bad experience Recently purchased a Certified used Vehicle. I didn't think to look over the car because it Was a Certified pre owned. When I got home I found out the Recently purchased a Certified used Vehicle. I didn't think to look over the car because it Was a Certified pre owned. When I got home I found out the passenger mirror was broken. I went back and the used car manager said the price was adjusted for that broken mirror, I asked how it passed Certification, So they wanted to fix it, I get home and see A dent on the lower body under the door. I took it back again and asked how they could certify this. Then I looked in The paperwork they gave me and somehow it was Missing the Certified inspection sheet, I called they Found it after 30 Min supposedly. I picked it up , found plenty of other items missed during the inspection. They Never called me for 2 weeks So I called TOYOTA, and got A case number. Now they want to fix all the things, Picked it up they forgot to make the key it was on the invoice, nobody verified work done? They did not fix a issue with the driver seat belt, And they Sublet the body repair and did not give me any invoice for it. Management never called me, what a terrible buying experience from this dealer, for A Certified car. More

Unfortunately the dealership messed up taxes and paperwork and forced me to drive 150 miles round trip to sign a paper they claimed couldn't be faxed. When I got there they were not prepared for me and I waited an hour to sign a paper that clearly could have been faxed or delivered to me. Instead I wasted half a Saturday and 150 miles because they screwed up. My friend Adam had no clue this was happening (finance dept) and was very apologetic. More
