Everyone has not only been knowledgeable but very friendly and helpful. I was greeted by Nauroze Unais who showed me the car I was interested in, reviewing all the features in the different models to help make a final decision. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured. Nauroze is very personable and patient.. He was thorough in answering my questions. All in all, a fantastic experience with Nauroze navigating the way from a great trade in to to final purchase. We buy the maintenance package at the same time so we don't have to worry later about getting the oil changes and tune ups. Whenever I bring one of our cars in for an oil change I notice they treat the other customers in there pretty well, too. The parts department people are helpful if I have questions. The car rental people are fast at getting me a rental car to drive while my car gets done, or I can get dropped off with a shuttle. I really like the no stress, actually helpful attitude the people who work there have towards their customers. Employee service makes the difference. Not just falling in love with the new car you bought, but trusting the company you bought it from enough to buy your next family car there. Toyota 101 on Bayshore in Redwood City, California has earned the repeat business of our family. We will continue to recommend the Toyota dealership near the Whipple exit in Redwood City, California to our friends. If you want to buy a car, or just need a trustworthy repair place for maintenance, Toyota 101 is the place. I am not a mechanic, and I don't want to be talked to like I am an idiot, so I really appreciate when they patiently explain as much as I want to know, and give me a respectful, straight answer to my questions. That's all we want, a fair deal and an honest answer. We get that from Toyota 101. P.S. We have been buying cars from Toyota 101 and using the car repairs and service since around 2006. When I agreed on the purchase she was quick to have the car prepared & gassed while we completed the transmission. In about two and a half hours I was headed home in my Tacoma. Besides a car that is safer, newer and gets better gas mileage, I spent only $900 more than I did then --in inflation-adjusted dollars -- for a car that had over 20,000 fewer miles on it than the one I bought in the past. So, despite not getting the desirable hybrid (a $5000 premium), I got a good deal. Thanks. More

I don’t really write reviews, but I’m making an exception for this place coz my experience was THAT GOOD. So I bought my car back in Dec 2018 coz I just saw it on google. At first I thought that there was a catch coz the price is too good to be true given that the car has a later year (2014) and a considerably low mileage (65000). So I decided to call, set up a test drive the next day, and after an hour we got the paperwork set up and ready to go. But what really gave this place a 5 star is their service after you’ve made payments and got everything all set up and done with your car. They still managed to accommodate my needs even if I’m far away. I’m in the military, and things like this are really huge to us. They very expedient, and they will make sure that you’re good to go. I honestly wouldn’t mind working with them again in the future. That’s why you should go for it now too! More

I mistakenly sold my amazing 1999 Forerunner after 15 years of loyal service. Looking for better gas mileage, I downsized to a Ford Escape Hybrid... But, after 2 years, had to get back to another Toyota midsize. Looking for a used Highlander and leery of dealerships (1988 Jeep, Redwood City), I went through the Costco Auto Program. Registered at Costco with my choice of make/model, was redirected to Toyota 101; had an appointment with Jun Javier in a few hours; drove the Highlander, traded in the Ford, got a loan, drove home. All within 3 hours. Got the SUV I wanted at a reasonable price in a pretty painless process. Thank you Jun for working with me! Love my Highlander. More
