Thank you for contacting us and expressing your concerns regarding a recent visit with us here at Sutherlin Nissan. I have spoken with the salesman and sales manager that each took time to go over your savings certificate with you and your plans to purchase a new Nissan. As stated and itemized on your savings certificate, several items make up your bottom line sales price. These incentives are offered by NissanUSA, not Sutherlin Nissan or any other local Nissan dealer. They are yours to accept or decline, subject to qualifications and credit (i.e. $600 college graduate, $1,000 active/retired military, good credit, etc.). Each incentive that you neither qualify for or refuse to accept means the incentive is withdrawn. You do not have to accept offers or incentives. You have to decide what works best for you and your family. Again, it is important to note that the incentives and/or offers come from NissanUSA, not the Nissan dealer. In your case, you declined to accept the NMAC finance incentive (as clearly stated on the itemized savings certificate) and thus, the e-price goes back up by subtracting out the incentive you declined to accept from NissanUSA. There is no other source of monies to replace a declined incentive by NissanUSA at the dealer level, such as a finance incentive offered by NissanUSA. There are strategies, however to offset the acceptance of the incentive by accepting the offer from NissanUSA and at a future date refinancing or paying off your NMAC loan with no additional cost or expenses. If you wish to revisit any of these options or if we can help in any other way, please contact me directly at the dealership and I will be happy to meet with you personally. Sincerely, U.S. Marine Owner and Managing Partner Sutherlin Nissan of Orlando (407) 657-9500. CC; Aaron D'Amico, Internet Sales Manager, Laz Lopez, General Sales Manager.

I am obviously now getting a "canned" response. I have attempted to rectify this situation by emailing and sending a letter directly to U.S Marine at the dealership. As stated in my last direct correspondence, due to your lack of appropriate follow up, I am pursuing a legal settlement and reporting the dealership and salesperson to Nissan Motor Corp, Florida Attorney General's office, Consumer Financial Protection Board, Florida Department of Motor Vehicles as well as the Florida Better Business Bureau. You have in no way shown honor or dignity in this transaction.
