Jon Loyd warmly greeted us, was very kind and genuine. Jon took the time to give me all of my options and was never once pushy. I ended up getting a brand new car that I LOVE and can afford. Jon even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connecting the blue tooth with my phone, etc. I highly recommend Sunset Ford! It was worth the hour drive to get there, especially because Jon made our experience so worth it! More

Terrible customer service!!! I called to make a service appointment because my service engine light was on the soonest they could even see it was 2 weeks. When I said my daughter I called to make a service appointment because my service engine light was on the soonest they could even see it was 2 weeks. When I said my daughter drove this car and she was on break from college 4 hours away they basically said not their problem. I said we could take it to St. Louis location the lady told me the first available appointment there was a month away. I made first appointment available for a Friday and asked if it could be ready for Saturday because my daughter had to return to school Sunday. The lady said she couldn’t say because they had to run diagnostic so I offered to leave it there early so they could run diagnostic whenever they could find a minute. She shot this idea down also. So I did the only thing I could and made appointment for first available day. I brought the car the day before and talked to the actual service department and explained my dilemma. Justin made it seem like this wasn’t a problem to get it done and would call me the next day after he figured out was wrong the next day. At 3pm when I hadn’t heard from him I called to only get his machine. He finally called back at 7:30pm with more excuses. He said they knew what was wrong but just didn’t have time to call warranty department that day it would be Monday. He acted like he didn’t remember the conversation about my daughter going to school 4 hours away the next day. His response was well it might be ok for her to drive it but he wouldn’t. He told me if the check engine light started to flash to tell her just to pull over and stop driving. Really I don’t think so!!! Never again will I buy a car here and I will make sure everyone I know of the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! More

No pressure, no anxiety, no haggling just quick and easy deal. Joe Hill greeted me at the door, clearly explained of all the featurest before my test drive started and was a great navigator, letting me know well ahead of time when I needed to turn. Jimmy Williams explained all of the financing and warranty options and was very informative. Again, no pressure at all. He was very friendly and had my paperwork ready and finished the sale expediently. Shopping gives me anxiety even the grocery store, but Joe and Jimmy were the best and I would recommend them in a flash to anyone looking to purchase a Ford. Joe synced my phone and I was out of there in no time. Thank you both for making the process as smooth as possible. More

I Keep Coming Back! I have previously bought 2 cars from Sunset in Waterloo. So after a recent car wreck, I needed a new vehicle. I began my search with Sunset's website I have previously bought 2 cars from Sunset in Waterloo. So after a recent car wreck, I needed a new vehicle. I began my search with Sunset's website and contacted my previous salesman George. He got back with me right away, asked if I was ok, and sent me a list of possible vehicles. He already knew the criteria I use when purchasing a car. Like most people, my holiday schedule was crazy, but George lined up another salesperson to help if I came in when he wasn't there. They brought a vehicle that I was interested in over from the St Louis lot and let me test drive it. Of course, I did my research and checked prices and availability of vehicles at other places, but Sunset was by far the best! A week later I finally made my decision and purchased my 2015 Nissan Altima. Even though it was not a Ford product, George and Joe were able to answer my questions completely. All the staff were friendly and polite. George, Joe, and Jimmy took great care of me. So now, I have bought 3 cars from Sunset and I will keep coming back! More
