Sara and her team are always on top of what work needs to be done and with explanations of why. I have also worked with David Brown who who was my service advisor during a computer upgrade. Took the truck in for some front end work. An alignment was scheduled with PSL Battery &Tire because Sunrise didn’t have the equipment. Once the truck was seen by PSL Battery &Tire, they said An alignment was scheduled with PSL Battery &Tire because Sunrise didn’t have the equipment. Once the truck was seen by PSL Battery &Tire, they said the lower ball joints needed replaced and could not align the truck. I have placed several calls to have the additional work done, including leaving messages; never a call back. Hope other customers have a better experience. More

This review is to highlight my attempted purchase experience. This all started after receiving an email from Sunrise Ford’s sales manager, Michael Lawrence. I have provided the exact email below. “Thank you for being a customer in our service department, and hopefully in the future you will become a showroom customer of ours as well. We have invested in a new technology that will notify us when you can get into a new Ford F350 SRW keeping your payments about the same if your vehicle is being financed or leased. We have found that most of our clients like to drive a new vehicle, rather than maintain an older model. There is absolutely no obligation. In the future, when we see an opportunity for you to get a newer Ford F350 SRW, we would like to contact you. If you are interested in knowing when an opportunity for us to upgrade your vehicle arises, please contact me so I can collect a few pieces of information from you.” Needless to say, I bit on the marketing offer and sent Michael an email sharing the opportunities I would be looking for to purchase a new truck. I basically said i wanted a good trade number, a highly discounted new truck figure and a low interest. Two out of three reasonable demands. Michael and I went back and forth on several emails and considering the tone of those emails, I made a trip to Sunrise Ford. Please also note that I knew upfront that they did not have a truck in stock that would fit my needs. Upon arrival, I met with Michael immediately and discussed further the type of truck I was looking for. In addition, we began the steps to get my 2014 F350 Super Duty Platinum with 99,440 miles evaluated. After a review of their inventory, I was shown a used 2023 Lariat with just over 6,000 miles on sale for $80,300. After a short test drive we sat down to review their initial offer. Here is where the fun starts. Sunrise’s initial offer for the trade in was $27,000. This is about $6000 to $7,000 less than KBB. I fully understand that dealers do not use KBB but it still provide a reference point on values. I was told that Sunrise uses the Black Book, which is what vehicles sell at wholesale / auction. Based on the condition of my truck and the miles on it for being ten years old, I highly doubt my trade would have gone to wholesale. Beyond the trade value, Sunrise also forces buyers into three dealer options, already applied on every vehicle that cost $1,400. They are ID etching, paint protection and Lojack. Added to that, are their exorbitant dealer fees of $1817.00. i took my truck to a local GMC dealer and a Chevrolet dealer where both offered me $31,000. One would think, you would get a better offer from a Ford dealer taking in a Ford truck. After going around and around with Michael, he came back with a number of $29,000, stating that the number was an over allowance. I am not sure what was meant by over allowance, but I ended up driving 40 minutes to purchase a brand new Ford F350 King Ranch from Gilbert Ford. 80% of the sales transaction was completed via computer and cell phone prior to my drive to their dealership. I sent photos and a service summary listing all of the dealer services (all Ford) completed on the truck. They provided me a trade number over $31,000 and discounted the new truck substantially. Between the trade number, the dealer options Sunrise forces you to purchase and the dealer fees, I saved $4,700 on the purchase with Gilbert Ford. A truly painless purchase experience and a far better deal. More

Terrible experience. The finance guy was a nightmare to deal with. He approved my daughter for a loan and then 2 weeks later he contacted us and said he made a mistake. T The finance guy was a nightmare to deal with. He approved my daughter for a loan and then 2 weeks later he contacted us and said he made a mistake. The car we bought from them was too old and she had to reapply for a loan and of course it had a much higher interest rate. Then less than a month later we had serious mechanical problems with the car. Would have never purchased another car from these people. More
