Deceived Into Buying an Unsafe Vehicle I had a terrible experience with Suburban Toyota of Farmington HIlls and feel completely misled. I purchased a used vehicle that had damage reported on the C terrible experience with Suburban Toyota of Farmington HIlls and feel completely misled. I purchased a used vehicle that had damage reported on the Carfax. I specifically asked the salesperson what the damage was, and he pointed to a small dent on the side of the car. He made no mention of any front-end damage. After bringing the car home, I noticed signs of damage to the front bumper and decided to get it inspected. To my shock, the mechanic found structural damage to the front impact bar, which is a major safety issue and makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. I immediately contacted the dealership. They said they would “look into it” and get back to me — but no one ever did. This dealership sold me a car with serious undisclosed structural damage and ignored me once the sale was complete. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to get an independent inspection before you sign anything — and don’t trust what the salesperson tells you without documentation. More
