I bought a new Ford F150 from suburban Ford of Troy. I had a check engine light come on at 10k miles. Got to their service department when it opened and was told that I’d have to leave the vehicle all d I had a check engine light come on at 10k miles. Purchased a 2021 CPO. For their pre-owned car: Run. Long story short: Bait and switch. This is a big red flag for dealers. 1 week ago, I saw the car info on Carfax, called immediately, and scheduled a test drive for the next day. However, when I confirmed with them the next day, they told me it was just sold and tried to talk me into another more expensive car. Luckily, I didn't leave home yet. Otherwise, I would end up spending 2 hours driving for a lie, for a car that doesn't exist. The funny thing is, after 1 week, that car is still on their website and carfax. I bought a pre-owned 2 days ago, and the info has already been taken down from both the dealer's website and Carfax. Therefore I can confirm here Suburban Ford of Troy is definitely doing Bait and Switch. I resent dealers like this. They simply DON‘T care. More
