My purchase of a 2020 RAM would not have happened if it weren't for Robert Bell. I had basically given up on Suburban. I tried to purchase this vehicle last Saturday. The sales rep I spoke with on the p weren't for Robert Bell. I had basically given up on Suburban. I tried to purchase this vehicle last Saturday. The sales rep I spoke with on the phone told me the dealership had a moratorium on selling to out-of-state buyers. I am in California and the dealership is in Michigan. It had something to do with delays in the DMV getting paperwork to the DMVs of other states. She told me there was nothing she could do to help me buy this truck. This sounded strange to me, so I tried to contact the General Sales Manager and the Concierge contact, but received no reply. It appeared I was going to need to pursue another vehicle. As a last effort on Monday, I looked at their website and arbitrarily selected Robert Bell. He was able to solve the problem of me being an out-of-state buyer and quickly wrote up a purchase agreement. I flew to Michigan on Wednesday and we were able to complete the deal. Because of flying across country to Detroit and losing hours due to different time zones, I didn't get to the dealership until 5:45 and they close at 6. I planned on driving the truck back to California and hoped we could complete the purchase quickly so I could get a few hours of travel in Wednesday night, followed by full days on the road Thursday and Friday. Robert explained the situation to the crew and they stayed open to complete the transaction. I appreciate Myles Rijos in the Finance Department for the last minute accommodation and staying late. Great job and a save by Robert Bell and his supporting cast. 2250 miles later I'm home and pleased with my 2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn. More
