Once we arrived, we were introduced to our sales person, Todd Cross. I can't say enough good things about working with him to find and purchase this beautiful car. He was so helpful to narrow down our choices to make sure we found the car we were looking for. He covered so many of the features in the test drive, that by the time we got back to the showroom, we had already decided that this was the car for us! The negotiations were a breeze and next thing you know, we were being walked through the manual. The gentleman in the financial department made the paperwork easy to understand and fast. After all was signed and sealed, Todd took us out to our new car and patiently showed us how everything worked, made sure all our questions were answered and sent us on our way. Great job!!! More
Get ALL information before finalizing a deal! It all started when I started shopping for a Subaru WRX Premium. Was really happy with the pre-sales experience till the D-Day. I filled up my credit It all started when I started shopping for a Subaru WRX Premium. Was really happy with the pre-sales experience till the D-Day. I filled up my credit application a day before delivery just so I could shop around in case the offered interest rate wasn't the best, I was communicated without running this through the banks that I would be offered the best Subaru financing deal of 2.9%. With all this sorted, I decided to make a 250miles round trip to Port Richey with my friends and drive back in my first car in the United States after graduating from college. Since I am international student with a good credit score but, with a short history, I had to bear the brunt of it the next evening when we got to signing the papers. Everything until then was splendid. Here's when things started going wrong - 1) Since I was to move to WI to start a new job in less than a week, I had requested them to register the car in WI using the apartment lease I had signed (this is allowed by WI DMV as I confirmed this process with them over the phone). However, on going through the papers, I realized the car was being FL registered('cause the banks would not have approved financing) and I would have to pay for the WI registration. They shortly agreed to cover for the WI registration cost without any drama since we had agreed upon a out the door price before. The bothering thing is all this wasn't communicated to me at all and I had to read through the fine lines to understand what was going on. 2) I was asked to pay $100 towards some stamps etc. This was over and above the Out the door price that we had agreed upon. I wouldn't expect an "out the door price" to change as taxes, costs are known right at the word ago and I was very clear that I need the exact price before I agree on a purchase. Again, this didn't take too long to get around and they agreed to take this charge off for me. 3) At 6pm whilst signing the papers, only after EXPLICITLY enquiring about the APR was , was given a really high number due to the nature of my short credit history and student income and that's OK. I don't blame the dealership for this but, they should have been transparent about all this. There is a reason credit applications are done in advance and they should have run this by the banks right after I filled up the online credit application instead of just looking at history numbers and telling me that I qualify for the best Subaru deal! I am ready to pass this too but, read this.... 4) When I told them about what I was promised a day ago, they started to give me reasons about why the APR was high. They were correct about it to some extent however, when I told them of my decision to back out from the deal, I was made to believe that if a approved loan is declined, it would show up as a blotch on my credit history and other bank will ever lend me money because SUBARU FINANCE rejected my loan application. I had to speak to a couple of reliable sources to brush this off as complete BS. During all this, they tried their best increasing the incentives and by proposing to refinance the loan without any penalty after making month's payment (since I would have a full time job by then) to close the deal but, I had lost trust in them by now. So, what did I get towards the end? Nothing! 1) I was planning for the last 6months to drive to WI and have fun with MY WRX. This failed a week before my move-out date 2) I lost leverage with other dealers 3) Had to incur the rental car + insurance + fuel charges since I don't own a car at the moment (I expected them to compensate me for this but, that's apparently beyond their control. Surprising, how they can dole out thousands of dollars when a purchase is on the cards) 4) Had to book last minute expensive flight tickets and arrange for my stuff to shipped to WI. 4) Wasted the time of my 4 best friends who accompanied me to take delivery of my new car. 5) The social embarrassment of returning without a car when all my friends and family knew about this purchase The sales experience was nothing but phenomenal! But the one that ensued after, is what in my eyes, shady! All in all, pay close attention to the paperwork and leave nothing to chance 'cause you never know what lies ahead here. More

We literally wandered in during a rain storm looking to research our next purchase and we drove away in a green Forester. The process was quick and surprisingly easy. Frank was amazing. He had such patience with Al. I felt like he really wanted to match us up with the perfect vehicle for our boat and driving needs. The Frank made us feel like family. Our financing specialist was also amazing. Al eanted me to compliment the "salespeople". I dont think that word applies. We are excited to have a Subaru again! Muchas Gracias. More
