Our sales girl was wonderful she showed us all the features of the Forrester that we purchased. I was a cash buyer and was willing to agree to the price we negotiated and that I would bring a cashiers features of the Forrester that we purchased. She said I could purchase it that evening with a no interest loan that did not have an early full payment penalty. We agreed and waited an hour or more for the finance women to close the deal. Once we got into her office, she tried to sell us all the additional coverages and services. We explain to her that we were not interested in any of those and that’s when her attitude changed. She actually became quite rude. She talked down about our previous car that we traded in, a BMW five series. She went on to say that everyone in the car industry knows how horrible those cars are and how stupid their owners are. Then as she was going over the numbers she disclosed that there is an interest rate on the loan and that there was an early prepayment penalty. I was about to walk out of the dealership. If I hadn’t emptied the BMW and the staff had removed it from the lot, I would have. Thankfully my wife had a blank check in her purse and we were able to write a check for the full amount and go home, some five hours later after we arrived. More

Liked all except that you do not list the cost of used car being Pre-Certified in the listed sales price. Also surprised the finance employee didn’t mention the loan rate nor a breakdown of added expense car being Pre-Certified in the listed sales price.
