I bought a Forester in 2003 from Subaru of Gwinnett. My experience with them, both sales and service over the years has been totally positive. I bought another Forester today 10/22/11 because the car is awesome and the dealership is top notch. They gave me a price that beat Cars Direct, then gave a further discount for being a previous Subaru owner. Highly recommend this dealership. They made buying a new car as painless as possible. Jim was straight forward and honest. Jim Heet is a great salesperson and we are happy with our purchases! He helped my husband with his initial inquiries about new-v-used, based on his own job in outside sales, in which his mileage burns throu purchases! The next day or so Jim spent all day with us - first setting up my husband in a new Outback...then getting me set up in a new Forester. Third Subaru for my husband (his daughter is still driving his first, a 1999) and 1st for me; I'm very excited about making us an all-Subaru family! We really enjoyed working with Jim and frankly I hope he still works at the dealership in 5 years when Robert is ready for his next new Subaru :-) Also, my husband has made friends with Jill and Lisa, having been in a few times for service. He introduced me to them on this visit, and they were very friendly and fun in helping us pass the time during our long day at the dealership. They also both shared with me about the Forester and helped me decide to go for it. We also worked with Jen and another nice man (who's name I can't recall) in Financing. From what we can tell, everyone who works at this dealership is top-notch, and we are looking forward to getting all of our service done here going forward. Thanks! More
This was our first experience with a Subaru dealership. Lance was great! He was very prompt responding to an email quote last night. We came to have a car serviced and ended up buy a car as well. We have been using SOG for service for quite some time even though it is a 25 mile drive for us. The staff and the service have been well wor well. We have been using SOG for service for quite some time even though it is a 25 mile drive for us. The staff and the service have been well worth the time and distance. We always feel welcome when we arrive. Staff are warm and friendly, but they are also very professional. Any problems are explained clearly and solutions are offered. They also point out when a problem is not urgent and could wait for a future visit. (Although she was not there on the day of this particular visit, we have also worked with Jill Thurston.) We ended up buying our second Subaru during this visit. We had been thinking about it for some time. As it happened, the right car was on the lot on this day. Lance Willhite was great to work with. Lots of good information but no pressure. Jennifer Chupp made the paperwork process most along quickly and smoothly. I usually hate the car buying experience, but not this time. I left the dealership feeling really happy about the purchase instead of frustrated (like I do in a high-pressure sales situation). I don't intend to buy another car soon, but if that time comes, it will be a Subaru and SOG is where I will go. More
