I also worked with Gary, who showed me a few cars. Very friendly sales and service conversations from both Gary and Neal. I test drove both the Legacy Sedan and the WRX 4-door. We looked at the STI tha friendly sales and service conversations from both Gary and Neal. I test drove both the Legacy Sedan and the WRX 4-door. We looked at the STI that was on the show floor, but unfortunately did not have time to complete a test drive of the STI. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family. More
I LOVE my Outback. Gary Sikes was so easy to work with and He took so much time with this indecisive female. I had been looking for the perfect car and the Outback has fulfilled all my needs. This is my first Subaru but it will not be my last. Neal O'Leary in service is so knowledgeable about the Subaru that I trust him when I bring my car in for warranty service. In fact Neal is the reason for my visit to Subaru in the first place. More
I could not be more excited about my new Subaru Forester! Gar My husband and I visted 3 different Subaru dealerships and we decided to buy from Subaru of Gwinnett because we had the best experience by far. Gary Sikes was excellent to work with and had the attitude, experience and knowledge that we greatly appreciated. The entire team was so laid back and the "no pressure" sales and customer service approach is exactly what we were looking for. I left with the utmost confidence that if I had any questions, concerns, etc, Gary would take care of us. We just may be a Subaru family for life. More
My experience with Subaru of Gwinnett has always been fantastic! Today, I purchased a 2011 Outback, which is my 2nd Subaru from Subaru of Gwinnett. Gary Sikes was the sales representative that assisted fantastic! Today, I purchased a 2011 Outback, which is my 2nd Subaru from Subaru of Gwinnett. Gary Sikes was the sales representative that assisted me in my purchase. He helped me with my first Subaru as well, and he continues to assist wonderfully. The am always pleased with the service that I receive from Jill Thurston in Service Department. I choose to drive 2 hours from Columbus, Georgia to Duluth, Georgia because Jill exudes great service. She is also very accommodating with appointments considering the drive that I choose to make each time. Jennifer Chupp is great as well, and she went above and beyond to find and retrieve the vehicle for me. Today was my first experience with Tom Reddin(?). I was so impressed because he went over the documents and disclosures with such efficiency. I will continue to use Subaru of Gwinnett as my exclusive Subaru dealership because the I like the atmosphere, and the people continue to make me feel welcome during each visit. More
In all my years of car buying this was the least stressful experience of them all. My salesman, Jim Heet is a rare breed that really understands the product and listened and reacted to my needs and stressful experience of them all. My salesman, Jim Heet is a rare breed that really understands the product and listened and reacted to my needs and questions. Jill Thurston walked me through the paper process in a comfortable and painless manner. The entire staff seemed relaxed and left the impression that SUBARUofGwinnett is a happy place to work, and more important, a happy place with which to do business. What a nice combination to find exactly the car I wanted and at the same time a dealer that made the process easy, quick, and pleasant! Thanks to everybody for treating me so well. John Thomas More
I went to several other dealers before coming to Subaru of Gwinnett. I was not even considering a Subaru but found their info on Consumer Reports. At the other dealers I was treated very poorly - to the of Gwinnett. I was not even considering a Subaru but found their info on Consumer Reports. At the other dealers I was treated very poorly - to the extent of complete rudeness and bullying to try to get me to buy a car. I left those dealers without making a purchase. The Subaru of Gwinnett experience was great from beginning to end. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable people in all departments along with what seems to be a great vehicle. They have won me over and made "car buying" a pleasant experience. More
I have to say that I don't usually go out of my way to give feedback to companies for products that are actually as good as they are touted to be. However, in the case of my new Subaru, I think I have to give feedback to companies for products that are actually as good as they are touted to be. However, in the case of my new Subaru, I think I have to make an exception. When we bought the car in Aug, people told us what great cars Subaru's were, especially in the snow and ice. Of course, we believed them, but living in Atlanta, we didn't figure it would have much impact on our car decision as we don't have much snow and ice in any one winter. Well, after last weeks events, I have to say that I am even happier with my decision to buy 'my baby'. It only took hitting the first patch of snow and sliding just a little to feel the car grab and feel secure again to make me a Subaru enthusiast forever. (My son (17 years old and knows way more than Mom and Dad do) tells me it is the auto correction that is making the biggest difference, but what do I care what made the difference, it happened and I gained a lot of confidence in driving on the snow). Of course, after figuring out that my car was the best of the family 'fleet' for getting around last week, I felt compelled to let our son drive it as there was little chance of family harmony in keeping him at home! Knowing that the car made it so easy for me to drive gave me the reassurance that our son would be safe (assuming he didn't do anything ridiculous!). So, please tell Gary and everyone else there at Subaru Gwinnett that we love our 2011 Outback and a big thank you for helping us find our way into the family of Subaru owners. More
I have worked with Subaru of Gwinnett twice in the past I have worked with Subaru of Gwinnett twice in the past six years. Both experiences have been excellent. I never feel "duped" when I walk away wit I have worked with Subaru of Gwinnett twice in the past six years. Both experiences have been excellent. I never feel "duped" when I walk away with my new Subaru. Being female, I always feel a little leary about walking into a car dealership, but Subaru's staff has managed to put my fears and leariness at ease. In 2004, I purchased my first Subaru--a 2002 WRX wagon. Although I didn't have the world's best credit, the salesperson worked with me. He made sure that I had financing through a reputable bank so that I could not only enjoy my car but also restore my credit. I have to admit that I drove my little turbo wagon into the ground. It took me from Georgia to Maryland, from Maryland to Florida, from Florida to Georgia, and from Georgia to South Carolina and back numerous times without much maintenance. My WRX was amazing! I know it would have lasted longer if I had treated her better along the way, but I was a full-time college student who worked full-time. So, when I knew she needed more care than I could give her, I came back to Subaru of Gwinnett to trade her in for another Subaru--even though I hated to part with the car that I had dreamed of owning, had finally acquired, and had nothing but great experiences with. On September 14, I emailed this dealership inquiring about a 2008 Forester X that they had on their lot. With quick response, Jennifer Chupp replied that she or Lance would be happy to talk with me about this car. That night, I, my husband, and my worn WRX pulled into the Gwinnett dealership lot, walked into the dealership, and met with Lance. He allowed both me and my husband to test drive the vehicle. We never felt any pressure from Lance as we thoroughly inspected the Forester. When I told him that this was the car I wanted, he spoke with Terry, the general manager, and came back with a fair trade-in offer for my car. In less than two hours, I had signed the necessary documents, had paid a fair price for my new Subaru, and had been given a 100,000-mile warranty. With a full tank of gas, compliments of the dealership, my husband and I were headed home. Less than a week had gone by when I received a call from Lance, my salesperson. He explained that the bank needed a co-signer for my loan. Needless to say, I was worried that the "no-haggle, no-duping female car buyers" dealership was about to play dirty. I had heard of this kind of thing happening--the car's bought but then the bank won't put the loan through (at least that's what the dealership tells you) unless the interest rate is increased or more money can be put down on the car. For three days I waited to find out the fate that existed between me and my new Forester. Although Lance assured me each time I called that all would be fine, I was still worried. I refused to drive my car because I didn't want to form an attachment and end up paying twice what the car was worth when they would explain that I couldn't have the car unless.... Once again, the staff at Subaru pulled through. Lance hadn't been trying to get more money out of me to increase his commission. He was honestly trying to maintain the original deal I had wanted, and the way to do this was by adding a co-signer. When I returned with my husband (and co-signer) on September 25, I was amazed that (1) My car payment didn't increase and (2) I didn't have to provide any more money. In fact, Terry decreased my car payment for the inconvenience of having to come back in and provided me with a cargo mat, an owner's manual, a car fax report, and a bottle of cleaner upon my request. I actually left the dealership having made money, really. All in all, I have to say that being happy with my Subaru(s) is a "no brainer." My current 2008 Forester runs smoothly and has more room than I'd ever expected. Even though I gave up my turbo when I traded in the WRX, this Forester has great pick up. I can honestly say that I don't miss the turbo, which is something that I thought I would regret giving up. I also have to say that being happy with the staff at Subarua of Gwinnett is even more of a "no brainer." They're honest, efficient, funny, and kind! I'll definitely be going back. In fact, my husband told me that when he pays his truck off, he may just be making a trip to Subaru of Gwinnett to check out the WRX on the lot. Rest assured, this is the car buying experience you've been looking for. It's fair; it's fast, and it's actually fun! Just like the Subaru you'll drive home in!!!! More
My partner & I were in the market for the new Outback & found Subaru of Gwinnett on the internet. Gary called & emailed the price & what he had available on the lot. My partner is from Ringgold Georgia wh found Subaru of Gwinnett on the internet. Gary called & emailed the price & what he had available on the lot. My partner is from Ringgold Georgia which is across the state line & Chattanooga. The dealer up there was terrible & absolutely zero help in finding our new car. We did most of the legwork on the phone & internet. This is the best way to buy a car. Subaru of Gwinnet has an Auto trader guaranteed trade value that was higher then anyone around. Chris in the finance department got the rate we wanted & had us signed up & out the door in just over a hour. We live in Decatur, but it was well worth the drive to Duluth to get the deal. We had the best time & really enjoyed what normally would be a stressful event. KUDOS Subaru of Gwinnett!! What a way to buy a car. More
