My experience at Subaru of Gwinnett was fantastic. In late summer 2012, I purchased a new Impreza at a different dealership where my experience was very unsatisfying. Several months later the paint on my late summer 2012, I purchased a new Impreza at a different dealership where my experience was very unsatisfying. Several months later the paint on my bumper started peeling. I decided I would not return to the dealership of purchase. Instead, I went to Subaru of Gwinnett, as it had very positive online reviews. The paint issue was deemed a defect that Subaru of America and Subaru of Gwinnett were willing to fix at no charge to me. Through this process Jill Thurston and Nelson in service were extremely helpful, friendly, accommodating and prompt with communications. Jill gave me a very comfortable 2012 Outback to drive while the paint was being fixed at a local body shop, again at no cost to me. When the body shop had finished the job, several issues of quality were noticed. Jill was extremely apologetic, sent my car back and arranged for the bumper to be replaced completely. When I picked up my car, the exterior looked as good as the day I bought it, but paint splatter had gotten on the cloth of the cargo cover. Jill was extremely apologetic, replace the cargo cover (again at no charge to me) and even offered a complimentary interior and exterior detailing the next time I had my car serviced. Easily, this situation could have been very negative, but Subaru of Gwinnett, and Jill especially, resolved all issues in a prompt, professional, responsible and courteous manner. Jill really went the extra mile to make things right. Her efforts were very effective, as I left this experience feeling extremely satisfied. I definitely recommend Subaru of Gwinnett. More

My wife and I buy a new car only about every 10 years so we have little experience. After doing extensive research we arrived at Subaru as one of our top choices. Armed with all of the "how to" from sourc we have little experience. After doing extensive research we arrived at Subaru as one of our top choices. Armed with all of the "how to" from sources like Consumer Reports and invoice prices from the internet we sent out requests for quotes. Ms. Matos was the first Subaru dealership to reply and follow up with a call. Her attention and professionalism on the phone convinced us that Subaru of Gwinnett was the place to start our search. We did begin with hesitation because everyone has heard all of the car-buying horror stories. As soon as we met Ms. Matos all of our concerns melted away. Here was obviously a professional sales person who did not fit the stereotype. There was no sales rush or pressure to buy. Swindia gave us the information we were looking for and answered all of our questions. If she didn't know she said so and went and got our answers. She was very attentive and we immediately felt comfortable with her. We take a long time to make decisions like this and Swindia was patient and never gave up on us. Her attention, however, never felt like an imposition or that she was being "pushy." When we asked for specs on a couple of models and wanted a price, there was no hesitation. We immediatly got an official invoice with MSRP and the invoice price. When we got down to the Outback 6.5R Limited as our choice the price with optiion packages that Ms. Matos got for us was spot on! The broker we were working with from our Credit Union said it was a very fair price and he couldn't beat it by more than a couple of hundred dollers - so no haggling! We had been dreading that but it was not necessary with Swindia and Subaru of Gwonnett! All around it was a delightful experience. We got the car we wanted at a price that was fair to us and the dealership. We attribute that to the care and professionalism of Swindia Matos and the honest, family atmosphere at Subaru of Gwinnett.
