This was the first time I bought a car on my own, and felt completely at ease the whole time. Any time I had a question, Jim had an answer. Any time I needed to email/talk to Jim, he was always available. Everyone I met at the dealership from Finance to Parts/Services was friendly, courteous, and clearly had my best interests in mind. I would recommend Subaru of Gwinnett to anyone. Thanks to all the great folks there! More
I knew very little about the Subaru brand when I walked into the showroom. I asked for Lance Willhite because I had read other reviews that were very favorable about him....low key and easy to talk to..... into the showroom. I was coming from a Lexus RX330 and wasn't sure if the Outback would be comfortable enough for me. He was very patient and after driving two different years I was satisfied that the 2013 Limited would work just fine. He was low pressure even during the negotiations.....I have driven the car now for about a month and have felt totally comfortable about calling him with questions about the car. I would recommend him to anyone interested in a test drive. I have not experienced Subaru of Gwinnett's Service department but from the reviews I'm sure they are excellent. More
I bought a 2012 Legacy last year and it was great car but after a few months I came to the collusion that a sedan was not for me since I had a van before the Legacy. I went by the dealer to talk to Swindia Matos, she sold me my Legacy and disused my concerns about the car she told me that I may be happier will a SUV so we looked at the new 2014 Forester man what a nice SUV... well to make a long story short the payments on the 2014 was a bit out of my price range. She suggested that I may want to look at a 2013 Forester since I could get a nicer one for what a base 2014 would cost. She was right and she got me in a 2013 Forester Limited. It has all the options that I would love to have but not able to afford. They found the SUV in NC and sent a driver to bring it down to GA just for me to look at. I had not even said yes to the deal and they went to all that trouble. Well I looked at the SUV and fell in love with it. Now how to pay for it I thought well they said that they would work on the price to make the payments that I needed and they did just that. I came out of there with the SUV I had dreamed of and with a payment I could live with. This is now my second car from SOG and I could not be happier! I will add one more thing I have been dealing with their service department and they are just as easy to work with as the sales department. All in all the dealership is great and I would not hesitate to send any of my friends or family to them for sales or service. More
I had a very pleasant purchasing experience with Swinida Matos. She was very patient which is great when you have to way out all of the options. I purchased my car here in 2004 and, with the exception of my three years in Utah), have never and will never take my car anywhere else. Over the years, I have become friends with Jill, and consider myself of my three years in Utah), have never and will never take my car anywhere else. Over the years, I have become friends with Jill, and consider myself lucky for that. She is incredibly warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable in this industry. Last week, while on my way to the hospital for my father's heart surgery, my car started sputtering, loosing power, and the check engine light kept coming on. I pulled over and called Jill, told her what was happening, and took her advise to bring the care in. After calling AAA, I called Jill back to let her know that my car was being towed in. When the we got there, Jill and Harris were literally waiting for me. Harris asked me what was wrong, jumped up onto the truck bed to start the car and take a listen. He immediately told me that my fear that it was the timing belt (since it was loosing power) was probably wrong and that it sounded like it was misfiring - most likely a spark plug issue. Since they new the rush I was in, he took my car straight back with no waiting. While this was happening, Alyssa, having overheard my concern about it being the timing belt, look up my records and let us know that I had just had it replaced within the last year (she had also overheard me say I couldn't remember if I had replaced it or not). Within the hour, Harris had replaced the sparkplugs and connections, and my car was driving again. I had several bad experiences with the Decatur dealership and with some of the ones in Utah, but Jill and her team have never been anything other than spectacular. I will continue to bring my car here for as long as I can, and if my next car is a Subaru (which it likely will be), I will once again use Subaru of Gwinnett. More

Our experience was pretty low pressure, as we knew what we wanted before coming in. Lance made the process as easy as possible, and we really appreciated the financial managers recommendations. I have had dealings with your service dept and have been served well. Your sales rep responded quickly to my husband's internet inquirery - and was willing to talk about price/best deal. We had visited the Decatur, GA Subaru dealership but once again it was location for us to make the final decision. The Decatur dealership was also excellent when it came to responding to our inquiries. If there had been a problem with customer service we would have been out the door. We were greeted, phone calls were answered in a timely way and our sales rep even came in on her day off to make sure that she had a sale. I have no problem with dedicated sales people. Love having a woman in your parts dept as well as a woman as head of your service dept. Nice job. More
