We never felt any pressure from Swindia or her manager into buying it. It was very easy going and I felt the team at Subaru Gwinnett was honest. I recently purchased a new Subaru Wrx from Subaru of Gwinnett. I contacted Swindia in December of 2013 about the WRX and asked questions through email and by phone over a 3 month time frame until I was Gwinnett. I did some internet research at Subaru of Gwinnett's website and a response from Jennifer was received. Further searching at their wbsite allowed me to select a n Outback Premium model for further stud website and a response from Jennifer was received. Further searching at their wbsite allowed me to select a n Outback Premium model for further study. After getting all the details I was offered an eprice from Alessa. Edmonds.com indicated it was close to what people were paying. Gary Sykes stepped up on the internet to arrange a test drive and offered drive out pricing over the internet as well as warranty options and financing. When my wife and I arrived for the test drive the Outback was parked out front ready to go and Trina pleasantly greeted us. After the test drive we spoke with Trina and made the purchase. From initial internet contact to test drive, to financing everything was professional and pleasant. What is more, Trina took the time to make my I phone hook up to the bluetooth system in the Outback. I cannot speak to the service department because the Outback but I imagine it is top notch. I had my eye on the Crosstrek and she was more than willing to spend time going over the features of the model. I could quickly tell that Swindia was not only attentive about my comfort and my inquiries, but she also believes in the quality of the Subaru brand and the dealership. We worked through some logistical issues with our schedules and settled on a particular set of options for a car. While a smaller inventory than the big dealerships in the area, we were able to get a car with the desired options transferred in. It's kind of difficult to be patient when one wants that new car now, but I finallyl got it, and Swindia was happy to help see the process through. I really appreciated all her help and may very well be in the market for a Subaru for my next car purchase. More
Having already visited a number of dealerships over the span of a few weeks and left feeling like I had been run over (forward and backwards) by a dump truck, I had all but given up on finding a car. I was exhausted from multiple battle rounds of looking, talking, driving and negotiating from other folks who fit the stereotypical "car salesman" persona. Needless to say, I wearily walked into the Subaru of Gwinnett dealership to meet with Chris to test ride a used Subaru I had seen online. It took everything I had within me to keep one foot in front of the other to get through the front door. However, as I walked into the Gwinnett dealership I was immediately greeted by an extremely warm and friendly receptionist who paged Chris to let him know I had arrived. I was still tense with apprehension as I saw this man walk my way, but I did begin to exhale with a sense of relief as Chris smiled and began to introduce himself. My mother, who was the brave soul to set the appointment for me, had already developed a fondness for Chris simply by his manners and demeanor over the phone. I simply assumed she was being played by the tactics of a good salesman, but I began to see what she had experienced over the phone. Chris truly seemed genuine and wanted to help me find the right car for me. We test drove two cars, which he was extremely knowledgeable about and I appreciated his approach in showing me every feature and benefit of each car. It was no surprise that he was extremely polite and respectful during this process. But honestly, I assumed I would gradually see his alter ego surface as we narrowed the gap from talking to negotiating. However, he stayed true to his friendly, respectful nature. In the end, Chris worked with me to get the car I wanted at the price I needed and I didn’t feel like he was asking me to sell my soul in the process of landing on a fair deal. I never felt like Chris was trying to sell me anything more than (or other than) what I initially communicated I wanted. Most importantly, I truly believe he engaged the entire journey with a sense of integrity and respect for me as a buyer. Furthermore, I was extremely pleased with expediency, thoroughness and friendly nature of Jennifer and everyone else involved in the purchase process. I highly recommend visiting Subaru of Gwinnett! They will give you exceptional attention and truly work with you without any hassle or flogging. And I highly, highly recommend Chris Davis! He will redeem any negative past experiences you have had with a car salesman or he will simply be the best car salesman you could ask for to help find the perfect car for you! More
