Arrived on time for appointment, was kept abreast of progress, all concerns addressed, left within one hour. My advisor didn’t keep me up to date on the progress of the warranty repair and left for the day at 2 PM . Since I heard nothing I called and was told that my car would probably not be done due to them bei the warranty repair and left for the day at 2 PM . Since I heard nothing I called and was told that my car would probably not be done due to them being “super busy booked” and only certain mechanics are qualified to do that repair. I told them that I took that day off to get my car fixed and I did have an appointment and tomorrow I need to be able to get to work . I was told they would do the best they can I told that I may as well just pick my car up. I called back and spoke to someone else who was a bit more helpful apologized for my advisor not telling me that it wouldn’t be done and try to get a loner car for me and also gave me the same over booked blah blah talk the first one did. I said that’s not my problem that you over book and don’t have enough qualified mechanics. He was able to get me a loner car so I got a ride there to pick it up. 2022 Outback it was filthy inside and out in the morning I needed to wipe inside of windshield to be able to see. what aggravation ! I was called Friday morning around 10:30AM and was told the repair was done but upon inspection my back brakes were found to be worn down and cutting into the rotors , it was hazardous to drive and could be fixed for $450.00 but he could give me a $50.00 discount . I declined and had my regular mechanic check them after picking my car up. The rotors are fine the pads still have meat on them they are in no way hazardous. I was present during this inspection and know that I was being lied to by Subaru of Newton. I also spoke to the manager Ted who acted surprised that all this went on and said he would look into the matter. We all know how it goes they tell you a bunch of BS. He in no way goes by the motto the customer is always right . I told him I’ll never come back to that dealership he said he hopes I change my mind. I doubt that. They think that as a woman your stupid and an easy target to use scare tactics on. I find that to be bad business. More
