I tested several other brands with vehicles roughly in the same category as the Crosstrek (Volkswagen, Honda, Mazda, Toyota) and specifically drove a bit further to buy from Mastro Subaru because Gene provided a fair Out-the-Door price on a Limited model without tacking on items I would not want. Lisa V. in finance also did a great job presenting my options and making sure I got out the door in a timely manner. Our salesman was a young man by the name of Lazaro Sanchez. Although he was new with the company, he was knowledgeable, and more importantly, he LISTENED to our needs, wishes, and expectations. Then, he matched us with vehicles in our price range and didn't try to sell us more than we wanted. I really appreciated that. Manager Sean was great and we had a long conversation with him about work, family, kids, and all things other than new cars. Personal connections are so important! When it came time to sign paperwork, there were no surprises and Julio explained everything in detail and in a way that was easy to understand. Wonderful purchasing experience from start to finish! I'm a previous purchaser from Mastro so when I was in the market for another Subaru, I knew that's where I'd be going. The whole process was amazing simple, efficient, and fun! Of course it's exciting to be buying a new car but Gene made the process even more enjoyable. He was willing to spend as little or as much time with me as I wanted going over the features of the car and answering any questions. And the sometimes dreaded financing portion with Julio was a breeze! I even remarked that it was painless and working with him too was enjoyable!
