Interest Rate Drama... We literally just walked out of this dealership about an hour ago and the experience was mixed. We LOVED R.J. Sterling, the salesman. He was very thor We literally just walked out of this dealership about an hour ago and the experience was mixed. We LOVED R.J. Sterling, the salesman. He was very thorough through the entire process and tried to help us get down to the payments we were comfortable with. We couldn't quite get there, but again, he tried. He didn't try to feed us some BS and he just seemed like a nice guy instead of a smarmy sales person. There was a miscommunication with our interest rate, but we were still able to get a pretty awesome rate. And even though we are a little over than what we wanted, we are still happy with the SUV. Now, I say there was a mixed experience because even though we loved R.J, the financial guy was kind of an a**. I know he was doing his job but he just seemed like he was looking down on us because we couldn't afford the bumper to bumper AND the GAP insurance together. Our payments were already higher than what we wanted and it would have been even higher with both of those things added. Also, I didn't realize this before because I wasn't in the room when my husband signed the paperwork but the cash price of the car is $1,000 higher than what was agreed on before with R.J. But now that we already signed and drove away it really doesn't matter because we are stuck with what was signed. I am going to assume it was an oversight on Calvin and not a manipulation because they gave us more on our trade in, so in order to make up for that, they added back the $1,000 to the price of the SUV in order to re-coup what happened with the interest rate error. So, all in all, I'd say excellent salesman in R.J. and I definitely recommend him to anyone else who is needing a new car. Even with the miscommunication, he was repentant and apologized for it and that is all we can ask for because everyone makes mistakes. More

Lies & Deceit Among Smiles Lied about information leading to purchase. Put title under co buyer name & address in which lives across the U.S. Dealership had to get my driver's l Lied about information leading to purchase. Put title under co buyer name & address in which lives across the U.S. Dealership had to get my driver's license twice and the supposed co buyer's license twice due to not finding it; even though they scanned them both times. All my car/finance information has been sent to the co buyer's address in which she is not home due to being stationed elsewhere because of the military. Salesman had no information about the car as well, so he had someone give him answers every time I asked a general question. Also above everything else, I received my license plate after my 8th call talking to someone which would mark about 2 month later after purchasing. The expiration date for temp was due a month prior. My experience here was terrible and wished I hadn't bought the car here. Since the purchase, they have treated me like there is nothing they can do about anything with errors they've provided. When I would call them, I was usually told they would call me back and never did. I really hope this will help put an end to someone else getting the shaft like I did. This needs to be known.. My information seems to just be passed along and lost with no whereabouts or care. Everything about this transaction seems unprofessional & disrespectful through a smile. I will no longer be buying anything through Stevenson & hope this will put though into someone else before going here. More
