Airbag light on for over a month The people at Star Service seem great and are very friendly but when my airbag light came on and I brought it in for repair it just took too long. The The people at Star Service seem great and are very friendly but when my airbag light came on and I brought it in for repair it just took too long. The first time I brought my Jeep in the truck was there for a few days and the wrong part was ordered so I ended up driving the truck with the light on until they were able to get the right part. After they got the part in I dropped the truck off and they didn't do repair right away because "my mechanic" wasn't in that day. They attempted repair and said they was some other issue and they needed to trace the electrical problem. They were unable to do so on this trip. I drove the truck with the airbag light on again. I was told they would call me when they had a loaner available so I could drop the truck for as long as was needed to repair it. Next week they call to bring in the truck. No loaner available. I wasn't surprised. I had bought an old used car to drive around assuming they would not have a loaner for me. I dropped the truck for repair and it took almost a week for them to track down and fix the issue. On the sales side I originally worked with Mino who steered us from the 2018 Compass we wanted to buy to a 2019 Cherokee we didn't really want by stating he "can not lease us" that truck. A few weeks later I received a lease offer from them for that exact truck. When I went to the dealer to confront them about this they stated if I was to have gotten that lease deal I would have not saved that much money and I got a better truck for not much more. In my mind more is more and I ended up with a better truck I don't want compared to maybe a less valuable truck that I did want. I will never buy here again. This is the second vehicle I obtained from them and I will not return to them. We went in the door asking for a Fiat 500x were told to look at the Jeeps in the showroom because they no longer had Fiat (which they told us that Fiat was dicontinuing import in to the US) and when we found a Jeep in the showroom that we liked were told we couldn't lease it and were put in to a different truck. It felt like getting fleeced twice and I'm way too nice to have just walked out which I should have done as soon as I was told they didn't have the truck I wanted. I thank them for teaching me this valuable lesson in sales. Never listen to a word a dealer says to you. Tell them what you want and if they don't say okay walk away. More

Great experience no complains! Today Dec 18th at 4.30pm, I got my brand new Jeep Compass 2019 an early upgrade to my other Jeep which would expire soon. Leon, the sales rep who took care of all the paper work has a good personality and mannerism as he conducted his business in a highly professional manner. I gave him my highest respect and honor for a job well done, because he assisted me every step of the way and never got upset if I asked the same question more than once. Continue to bait you after the sale...? I bough my car from this Star dealership. The car itself is great, my final cost could have been cheaper since I had a discount off of the manufacture I bough my car from this Star dealership. The car itself is great, my final cost could have been cheaper since I had a discount off of the manufacturers price but it is what it is. Since 2013 when I purchase my brand new car, I have gone to Star for service. At my second oil change, I informed that I an issue with the brakes which were making a squeaking noise and it felt and sound a little rough at times. I was told at time they would look at it, which it seems they did since the reply was that they are OE parts so they are going to squeak but they are good! Ok cool, I work with OE part company so I have faith...However my next visit, same complaint and told they were fine, a few months after brake light starts to come on momentarily when stopped at a light or something then disappear when drive. I had take my car in for service because of the throttle again at that time mentioned brake light, comment was no problem. Now each time I was under warranty, now just a month ago my brake light comes on and low and behold the roughness I felt and heard was now a loud grinding noise. I'm no car expert but surely knew there was something wrong with my brakes. Makes me wonder if they actually checked them or if the person didn't know what they were doing. Not mention that I failed inspection because of my during my last inspection at one of large retail places and when I went to Star they passed me and did not mention tires. Now at present with the brake issue, low and behold I need FOUR NEW TIRES because my tires have no stop...???? More
