Manish, we apologize for any frustration and inability to drive your new Acura. We appreciate choosing our dealership and allowing us to be a part of your Acura purchase experience. It is not our intention to create situations that would prevent any of our guest use of their new vehicles and we take full responsibility for short coming on our part in ensuring that the proper documents were handled correctly. As we have discussed, the state of Washington requires documents we were not able to provide until the loan is funded. We take responsibility for this, because we should have found out what the State of Washington requires for a person to register and drive your car when you purchase a car from another state. One of the challenges was the lender (Acura Financial Services) required additional information causing the process to be further delayed. Our offer to reimburse some of the expenses (registration fees, half a month's car payment / insurance) incurred during the time you were unable to drive your Acura was accepted. While we were waiting for the documents from the lender, we were able to provide a temporary registration permit which allowed you to drive the vehicle until your registration came in the mail. Once we were able to discuss this situation, we feel we were able to provide a resolution quickly. The Acura was purchased on April 18th, 2016 and I began employment at Acura of Riverside on Friday May 6th, 2016 and we had reached a resolution by May 10th, 2016. We regret the oversights that we made and will learn from our mistakes in the process. We sincerely hope that this experience has not tarnished your opinion of the Acura brand and that your family is now enjoying your new Acura MDX.
