I will respond for the Sales Department. Your truck is currently at a Dodge dealer where they are replacing the engine under warranty, which is no charge to you. The sales department has also provided you with a loaner vehicle while that work is being done out of courtesy, instead of you having to deal with the Dodge dealer for a loaner. I'm not sure what else you may be requesting, but it appears to me that this dealership has gone beyond in providing you everything needed while your truck is being repaired under warranty at the Dodge dealership.

I will respond the same way I did yesterday while you were at the dealership. First of all, your husband did sign the check in sheet where he was advised if it is not under warranty there would a diagnostic charge to determine the problem for your check engine light. If you would like a copy of the video showing him signing that paperwork I would be happy to forward it to you. Secondly as I tried to clearly explain to you, warranty only covers defects and not damages to components on the vehicle. I had asked if you had read your owners manual where that is clearly spelled out and you proceeded to change the subject. We provided you evidence where the wires to the solenoid on the turbo were either cut or chewed on by an outside influence, you did not want to listen and implied we may have done it. As I asked your son if the check engine light was on when the vehicle was brought in; knowing it was on since you all stated you had it scanned at another facility, he then proceeded to tell me that it was going on and off and emphasized it may have been off. The repair was completed within the time allotted for the diagnostic for a non warranty failure. Looking at your history on this vehicle you also had to have wiring repaired to your purge valve as well. Since you do not have the vehicle serviced at this Hyundai dealership or any other Hyundai dealership you may want to look into where you do have your vehicle serviced. I would rather have just repaired this under warranty to Hyundai than have to deal with the nasty attitude you displayed at the dealership; however, it is not the fault of Hyundai that your wires were cut and it is our responsibility to determine cause and bill the appropriate party for the repairs. Ultimately you were requesting that the repair be done free of charge and that is what this boiled down to, not customer service but free service.
