I purchased a 2020 Kona from another dealership. Since Hall is closer I decided to come here for the 1st oil changes/rotations. Jeff was my service advisor and I visited 3 times over the year. The first time I came in I was a little taken aback at his demeanor, but everyone has off days so I let it slide. At the end of the appointment he told me my car was ready (I was waiting) and I came into the garage to get the receipt and keys. They were sitting on the counter and he was gone. I walked outside to find my car and it was nowhere to be found. I found Jeff and asked him where it was and he pointed out 3 different areas, on 3 different sides of the building. So I took a walk around the entire building as well as down by the shop area. The panic button wasn't reading and so I went back in. Jeff took the key from me, walked out the door, past me, to a side lot where he pressed the button and the panic sound was activated. "There it is" he said as he handed me the key and walked away. I was waiting in the lobby during the appt....why would I need to look so hard for my car when I was RIGHT THERE. 2nd visit I came in and checked in, he never even looked up, just stared at the computer, even when he took the key from me. He brought me the key and receipt to the lobby and walked off, not so much as a have a nice day. Fortunately I knew where to find the car. 3rd visit I made the appointment online, no confirmation received, so I called the next day to verify it and the lady was so nice on the phone. I decided to avoid him and drop it off the night before, but the sales rep told me they were still there...so I took the envelope with the key in it, inside. I checked off tire rotation, oil change, 30,000 mile service and break check. I've had this car one year and there are already almost 33,000 miles on it, so with the higher mileage I need to make sure the breaks and tires are safe. I also noted again that the dash was saying the drivers side headlight and break light were not working. He again, said not a word, and I left. The next day I get a text around 130pm that the car is ready. I came in w a smile, and he said everything was done and that the lights could not be replaced because they were working, so nothing could be done. If it went out again to let him know. I got out to the car and pulled out of the parking lot, turning on the headlights and the dashboard lit up. My husband got in front of me in traffic and said the headlight was out. I turned around at the first stop light. When I got back to the dealership and pulled into the service area, he was laughing. I said "the light is out" and his reply was a laugh and "perfect". I then asked him what his issue was. I had been there 3 times and each time he's rude and unprofessional, this time was too much. I drive over from Gloucester the day before to drop off the car to avoid him, pick it up and its not ready, and have to go back to Gloucester and return a 3rd time, to pick it up. The tire rotation was not done, but listed on the receipt (lines put on tires beforehand, still there after the appt), the lights weren't fixed even though the entire dashboard lit up with graphics and warnings, and the 30,000 mile service and break inspection were never done. When I came back (again) to pick the car up he said they replaced both lights, free of charge, like they're doing me a favor. He also said the 30,000 mile service was a tire rotation, oil change and air filter change but my filters didn't need to be changed yet, so they didn't do it. If I come in and ask for a service on my car, then that's what I expect to be done. He could have called and ASKED me if I wanted the filters changed anyway and I would have said yes, but he didn't. He didn't even give me the option. It also includes the engine filter change, but he didn't mention that. I did make every attempt to reach out to the GM before writing this review, but he never responded to the 2 messages I left for him, which doesn't surprise me. I have had to reach out to another dealership to go over the car as one mechanic told me it doesn't look like the tires have ever been rotated. I still don't know if the recall item was ever looked at by them, either. I would seriously consider another dealership for maintenance, or at least verify what they're supposed to be doing, as for a year it looks like very little was actually done on my car, which I drive ALOT *NOTE* Jeff is not listed on service employees below.. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Jeff in the service department is very unprofessional and shouldn't be working with customers. This is not my first encounter with him being unprofessional, but I guara department is very unprofessional and shouldn't be working with customers. This is not my first encounter with him being unprofessional, but I guarantee it will be the last. I will take all of our vehicles to Tysinger from here on out. More

Dropped my Santa Fe off for a recall and maintenance issue. I was the 1st one there before they opened. They offered coffee, shuttle service and even whether or not I needed my vehicle returned by the e issue. I was the 1st one there before they opened. They offered coffee, shuttle service and even whether or not I needed my vehicle returned by the end of the day! The service manager contacted me before the end of the day via text message and notified me it was completed. She even arranged for my keys to be picked up from the service desk in case I wasn't able to make it before they closed. Very professional and on time, especially with the holidays being right here.
