I purchased a New Santa Fe Limited in Oct08 and purchased a new Santa Fe Limited in Feb09,My08 was stolen. I returned back to this dealership based on how I was treated when I purchased the 08. Nick and Devo a new Santa Fe Limited in Feb09,My08 was stolen. I returned back to this dealership based on how I was treated when I purchased the 08. Nick and Devon both times were very professional & caring; Jamie was my sales person this time and went the extra mile to meet my needs. I took such a loss from the insurance co. on the stolen 08, they only appraised it at $25,000. I not only lost all the money I put down put also lost on appraised value. It certainly would have been great to get a better rebate than $1,000 this time since this was the 2nd Santa Fe purchased in 3 1/2 months. As a result my payments are higher plus longer financing. I really like the Santa Fe however, I am dispointed in the blue tooth connection since my $300 cell phone won't work with the blue tooth, what's the point in having the connection? This Dealership is one of the BEST I have dealt with. More

It has been always a pleasure to deal with this dealership and Mitch Spears. This is the 3rd car that we bought from Mitch during the last 2 1/2 years. I believe this is one of the most inmportant factor for me in deciding to choose him - he lets the customer decide what choices to make. Buying a car, to me is a major purchase. This year it came time to do that. On a Friday night I went out car shopping to see what cars were out there that I would like and could possibly afford. The only ideas that I had were that it had to be 4 doors and no smaller than the car I had at the time (cavalier). I went to several different dealers and narrowed my choice between two dealers that had the same type of car. The next day I went to dealer 1 and test drove two cars of the same type. I then went to the Hyundai dealer and looked at the same car. I test drove that car. The employees at Hall made me feel welcome and I got a very nice greeting from all. My salesman was Mitch Sears. Mr. Sears, the finance team and the sales manager at Hall worked with me to get the price, within their means, that I wanted on the car and I appreciated the time they allowed me to work through making this decision as it became overwhelming at times and I never felt pushed into making a decision unless I was comfortable with it. When the time comes that I need another call I would go back to Hall and would recommend this dealership to others. More

On my last visit for regular service, Chris went the extra mile in making sure our 2007 Santa Fe was ready as promised and all the work was done to my satisfaction. When we had the Elantra serviced, he reminded me we should have a service coupon in the glove box for our oil change - and he was right! I only wish Hyundai made a truck - I would have three vehicles from this dealership. More
Overall I found it to be a very pleasant buying experience. I was searching for something special in an auto and found it in the car I purchased (Hyundai Genesis). Mr Sears was very knowledgealbe concerning this product and more importantly how this vehicle stacked up against other vehicales in this price range. He was not a pressure salesmen and I greatly apprechiated that, it was like talking to an old friend. All managers came by and introduced themselves as well as extented themselves to answer any question we may have had. They did all they could do to see to it that I walked out of the door comfortalbe with the payment I requested. MOST OF ALL, after buying the car they were just as considerate when my wife and I returned to have the car serviced. I guess the best way to sum up my experience with this company would be to say that I would certainly purchase another car from this dealer and recommend them to others. Thank Keith Grant More
Hall Huyundai excells in customer service. We went down to Newport News from Chester (south of Richmond) and purchased a new 2008 Santa Fe Hyundai and could not be happier with it. The sales dept deserves an excellant rating as it was a pleasurable experience buying from such a customer friendly group. Mitch Sears, our salesman, was very polite and courteous and Nick Vendt, the Sales manager, was more of the same. I definitely will and have recommended Hall to anyone interested in buying a car. This purchase was such a positive and pleasant experience. More
My girlfriend and myself went to Hall Hyundai in Newport News on a Saturday, hoping to look around at all the options that Hall had to offer. We ended up riding away with a 2009 Hyundai. My sales Consultant was Mitch Sears, which was a very nice person and we didn't have any problems with him. He met us as we walked into their lot. He was willing to let us test drive the car as soon as we saw one we liked, no questions asked. But when it was time to make the purchase, that's when we started to run into problems. I really can't remember the sale managers name right now but the day would have been a lot better just dealing with Mitch. After test driving the car and sitting in the office to talk business, I felt like I was getting the run around. We would ask one question and never get the answer. I stepped outside to have a smoke at one point and over heard another sale taking place not to far away. I heard the Sales Men sale a customer a SUV at same price I got the Elantra for, I asked the dealer if I could maybe take the car home and test it out for a day, and got no for an answer. I asked the dealer if there was a 3 day 1,000 mile return plan, and got the answer no. We were really backed into the corner. So I had the option to take it or leave it. I really didn't like that. I have no problem with the car ( for right now ) but I would also like the option to take it back if I wanted something bigger, but I don't have that option. So now I'm stuck with a car that I may not like, with a price that I know could be better cause I witnessed it with the other customer. Now what can I do.. It took 8 hours from the time we walked in, to the time we walked out. I know buying a car isn't fast but 8 hours is way to long. On the up side of things - I really like the service department. I feel that they care more about us then the office personal. Keep up the great job Service Department. More
I met Nick Vendt about a year ago, He is one of the friendliest sales person I have ever met. If I need my car worked on, he has given me his car as a loner to get my job done, I am a real estate agent friendliest sales person I have ever met. He really cares about a person, it is not just a sale for him, when he does business with you, then you become part of his family. You have a real gem for an employee and a loyal employee. Thanks for having someone like him there for me and my family & friends. I always send my friends and family to him to take care of, because I know he will take special care of them, they are not just a sale. He was going to sell my father a car, but with the price of gas, my dad would loose a lot of money, his advice, keep the car a little longer and he would help him get another one in about a year, WHAT a breathe of fresh air, it is not all about numbers for him, word of mouth can make or break you, I vote to make Nick Vendt, again thanks and his service department is just as wonderful.
