The level of incompetance from the service writer, service technician & the service director was almost uncomprehensible. It took the best part of two days to complete a state inspection in which the service technician & the service director was almost uncomprehensible. It took the best part of two days to complete a state inspection in which the brake system was deemed unpassable after numerous hours of frustration and the installation of a master cylinder (which wasn't the problem) the cause was determined by the customer (me) to be the height adjustment for the brake & accelerator pedals. This was articulated to the service director who mantained that the pedal still went to the floor even though thru obvious measurement was not true, with an excess of 6 inches before the floor ws even realized. The amount of deception and flat out lying was unaccepatble. This dealership needs to reevaluate the individuals they employ and retraining is needed. When a mistake is made honesty is the best cure which this dealership does not abide by apparently. If the ownership of this dealership where aware of the deception and lying that is abundant within the service department they would definately take some type of action. I understand they are going to make a profit, however, to do so with lies and deception is a disgrace to the community in which they make a living. More
I am still trying to get out of the deal with these guys. I actually signed on the first car and was driving it home when I had noise coming from the front end. If they had of been still open I would have returned the car then. I carried it back the next evening after work and dropped off for troubleshooting. I called about status around noon the next day and was told "I am waiting for them to tell me what to do with it" by the person in their service section. I personally thought it was a faulty cv joint. By the close of business that day I was told again by their service department "they did not know what was the problem and would need to send the car out". An entire day to trouble shoot a ticking in the front end while making a right hand turn? Today is day six and the shop just calls to say the car is repaired and it needed to be "lubed". 2010 Toyota Corollas have no grease fittings on the front end. Besides I spoke with their "evening manager" a couple days ago and said I wanted to exercise by 72 hour return right. Six days, no car, no solution. BBB and all the rating sights I can log on is next. More

Mr. Duquette was amazing and stayed in contact with me. It took me nearly 2 1/2 months to pick a vehicle. He never got frustrated with me, and kept in contact with me. Southern Chrysler Jeep - Greenbrier made it RIGHT!!! Having bought two previous vehicles from Greenbrier, and being happy with both experiences, this was going to be the 1st and only place my wife and I Having bought two previous vehicles from Greenbrier, and being happy with both experiences, this was going to be the 1st and only place my wife and I went to this time. Unfortunately, the two salesmen we initially dealt with (Jorge and ???) wanted to discuss monthly payment and refused to discuss the out the door price of the car we were looking at. I explained to them several times that we were pre-approved and our monthly payment was not their concern. To no avail, we continued to ask them to discuss the price of the vehicle. we finally got up and left. We got a quote from our credit union's car buying service through Hall (whom had chased me to Greenbrier to begin with). Before I could visit hall, Greenbrier's customer service rep called me to ask me if I was happy with my experience at their dealership. I stated that I was not, and offered to e-mail her my complaint. The following morning, our phone began to ring off the hook. The used car manager (Sean O'Hara) from Greenbrier left several voicemails to express his apologies for the way we were treated and ask us to call him. I returned his call and he apologized yet again for what had happened, and said that he'd like the opportunity to "personally make it right." I told him that I had an appointment with Hall, but would think it over and call him. Hall had our second choice in colors, and would not come down any further on our credit union quote (which affirmed that we were being quoted a good price). We told them we would think it over and called Sean back. He told us that we would still work with Jorge, but he would personally be giving us our pricing. When we arrived at the dealer, Jorge was waiting for us. He immediately went and got Sean, who came out to greet us. We explained that we had decided to look at a new car vs. late model used. He said that was fine. We told him which car we liked, he disappeared for a moment and came back with a price that was almost 200 under the credit union quote (without knowing that we had a quote through our credit union). My wife and I said we'd like to sleep on it and would contact him the next day. That night, we agreed that the price was good and felt it was obvious that they really were trying to make everything right with us. We decided to buy the car from Greenbrier. The next morning (Sunday), Sean called to see if we had come to a decision. On a lark, I said "knock another 1000 off and we'll buy it today." All of the sudden I hear another voice say, "Tell him I'll go $500. I want to make this right, but I'm not going any lower than that." It turns out that the dealership's General Manager (Cameron Shaw) was following up with Sean to find out what was going on with our complaint. Mr. Shaw is the one that ultimately set the price on our car. Prior to this, I spent two solid weeks researching the car we wanted, dealer invoice, rebates, average selling prices, etc. I'm convinced that we got an amazing deal on the vehicle and that they bent over backwards to make things right with a repeat customer. I plan on doing business with them again. More
