Juan the sales manager was rude and disrespectful. We ended up buying a car somewhere else 2 hours later. After walking out of there. Do not recommend dealing with this sales manager at all. ended up buying a car somewhere else 2 hours later. After walking out of there. Do not recommend dealing with this sales manager at all. More

I still have my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. So buying a new car is a major deal for me because I keep my vehicles forever. I saw this Rav4 come up on your site and because of your lifetime powertrain warranty, is a major deal for me because I keep my vehicles forever. I saw this Rav4 come up on your site and because of your lifetime powertrain warranty, I decided it would be worth it to drive 3 hours from Orlando to view and potentially purchase this car. I spoke with Nacima and she was very nice. She confirmed the car had navigation and heated seats and I explained I would be there the following morning first thing to test drive the car. When I got there on May 1, 2021, the navigation was not working. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Connect Services and finally, they said that until I purchased the car, they could not remove the previous owner from the car so I could connect to navigation. After purchasing the car, I had to spend another hour on the phone with Connect Services for them to be willing to remove the previous owner and add me with my registration as proof of purchase. They were finally able to fix it. I also asked for the 2nd key for the car. Nacima informed me that only one key was turned in by the owner. I had to order a replacement key and take it to the dealership for it to be programmed because only the Dealerships have the computer software to program the key. That was another $300 out of my pocket and I was told there was nothing that could be done. The Sales manager came and sat with us to work on the price because of all the hassles with the navigation. He wrote down that I would spend $31,000 out the door with tax, tag, and title if the cost of the new tag was $450. Since I had a transfer tag, the $31,000 would be reduced by the difference in the tag. That was not done. My transfer tag was $164.50 and I should have had a reduction of $285.50. He also explained that the $899 charge was to have the car ready for me to drive off the lot since it was a used car. It was to perform any maintenance that needed to be done prior to me purchasing the car. I will elaborate on this further down in this explanation. I bought the car on May 1st. On May 5th, I received the Carfax that said the car was overdue for the tire rotation. I took it to Toyota of Orlando and they said they didn't see any maintenance in the system from when the car was turned in. They did see that the rotation was needed and so was an oil change. I know that I have to keep up with the regularly scheduled maintenance in order for the Lifetime Powertrain warranty to stay valid. They also said it was due for an alignment and an Evap Core Clean. I let them do the oil change and the rotation and held off until you guys sent me the maintenance records for the vehicle. I finally received the service records on May 15th. It shows that you only changed the oil on the car on 4/29. Nothing else was performed. The car was out of alignment and the tires were out of balance. I had to take it to Tires Plus on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 to have these services performed. When I purchased the car, it should have been ready for me to drive home. I spoke to James and he said I would have to bring it back to your dealership in order for me not to be charged for those services. I explained that I am 3 hours one way and it would cost me more to drive 6 hours with tolls than it would to just have it done. I am extremely unhappy with the service (or lack thereof) provided by your dealership. James said there was nothing he could or would do to fix the grievances that I have with your dealership. A car should be ready to go when someone purchases it and you can see from the above that it was not. I am reached out to you to see if you would make amends for what I have gone thru with the dealership and the purchase of this car. We are 6 weeks after purchase and I am still having to fight to get things right and completed. I tried to reach out one more time to the General Manager, Andrew Scearce. He forwarded me to Roberto Nunez who also refused to help. Poor buying experience from this dealership! More
