I have purchased 2 new Hyundai SUVs from South Point. The service department used to be pretty good. As of late it is always an issue for simple things. Today I had what seemed to be a sensor (turbo) issue. I had someone read the diagnostic codes off my vehicle. He cleared them which reset them and it seemed to work ok after that. I am VERY nervous as I called only to find out they may take a month just to diagnose my issue. This is awful. No loaner until it is diagnosed. I think this unfortunately will be my last Hyundai due to the service centers in Austin / Round Rock. The fact that they can't be bothered to get your vehicle fixed (even under warranty) or offer a loaner until its fixed is insane to me. Being a single mom with no other vehicle this is a potential horrible situation. The manager did try to let me know this is just how it is. Is this a dealership issue or a Hyundai issue? More
My experience with South point Hyundai was great, my salesman Bubba Mitchell was patient, he showed us several vehicles and we didn't feel rushed. I ended up getting the a 2023 Genesis G70 and I love my salesman Bubba Mitchell was patient, he showed us several vehicles and we didn't feel rushed.
