He was very transparent and made sure he was providing me with all of the information I needed to make a decision I would feel comfortable with. Carter handled the financing of the lease. My name is Debra Mitchell, after dealing with a great sales person two times around my experience with the service department has been not so great. I had an appt for service on Saturday 10/7/23 at 12 PM sales person two times around my experience with the service department has been not so great. I had an appt for service on Saturday 10/7/23 at 12 PM I was lied to in my face my a new service adviser Ty due to a very expensive oil change that he did not go over the cost behand of 104.00 for a basic oil change. Open arrival for a service appt that I had scheduled out for over one month he checked my car in at arrival asking me step out while he check me in and take a few pictures he asked me to sign the service ticket at no point was fee every discussed for the oil change No worries because in the past I had never paid over 44.00 for this same vehicle 2021 Palisade. Ty did say they would be doing a complimentary 35 multi point inspection to make sure the care was running fine. He took the car within a few minutes I got a text messages and emails about some recommendations after I did not respond he left me there waiting for my car for over two hours before calling me to see if I wanted additional services Now keep in mind on my ticket it says customer waiting in lobby for car. He called asked about other service I answered responded No and wanted to know why it was taking so long for the oil change. within 20 minutes my care was done, time to pay and i got the charge of 104.00 for just an oil change i asked for the manager who came up right away with an attitude his name was Tom as Tilllotson who asked Ty if he went over the charge before had which he said yes which was a lie, Thomas said well you signed for the 104.00 charge right here when you checked in, I said No that is for the check in and the pictures which was sent to my email with the check in and pictures and shows my signature no where on there is they any fee. I asked if they had any coupons Thomas told me No but he would give me 10.00 off the 104.00 and I said okay but i will escalate my complaint so Thomas the manager took the paper back and told me that I didn't deserve his 10.00 discount, I said okay I will take it up on my customer survey, Thomas took the paperwork from the cashier went to the back for a few minutes and quietly told her to just give me the 10.00 off. So my point is if i want to complain as a customer I can't be given a discount but you can have a service adviser stand in my face and lie. Well guess what I'm still waiting on the email to come regarding my customer survey, never got it when I just called the service desk they asked me what my email was and then told me they don't control who gets a survey. Well I pay the 94.00 get in my car and guess what that 35 point multi point inspection that shows they checked my air pressure well NOT done remember it rained on Thursday so there was no finger prints on my rims at all and my readings were 37,35, 30 and 31. which all should be 35psi. Okay they also show they did a warranty check on a recall written on my paperwork for the fuse of the trailer hitch, well my car was brought in months ago on that recall and supposedly serviced while I took a half day off for a free service that was to be done, when I asked Thomas the service manger about it he was not sure why that was on the invoice, stated maybe they were just checking it but there is a charged for labor included with my oil change and all I got taken off was 10.00 discount that Thomas went ahead and approved after saying he wasn't going to give it to me since I wanted to escalate the ticket. One last thing on Thursday I had gotten a call from a Chad asking to have my car appraised while I got service on my service date of 10/7 I told him that the sale of the cars is great but service is a whole other thing but I would let him know based on how I was treated at my service appointment. Well though I have been a repeat customer, I must sadly say I will be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks Hyundai Service for treating your customer so badly. :-( Thanks Debra Mitchell More
