From the moment I walked through the door, everyone at South Point Hyundai were so attentive and helpful, especially Sonny and Shawn Hamze. Shawn went above and beyond in helping me find the right car for me. He was patient and really listened to what I was looking for and felt like I was given space to make decisions, never feeling pushed or rushed. Also very thorough answering all my questions and going through the many features on the cars. He was kind enough to pull the two cars I was deciding on side by side to have a better visual when comparing the two. When I decided to go with the Tucson, Shawn spent extra time helping me set up all the programmable features before leaving the lot. Truly grateful for Shawn, Sonny and everyone I worked with at South Point Hyundai. More

They had redo my invoice three times before getting it right which took forever. When I asked what happened, the service representative stated “I did it wrong.” After the third time, I asked again what ha right which took forever. 4 month wait to fix my 2022 Santa Fe’s horn. Contacted SouthPoint Hyundai on 9/18/23, explained the horn was inop (can’t pass motor vehicle inspection without it). It’s a safety issue and even with that I was told I’d need to wait 4 months until January 2024 to get it looked at. Was given all kinds of excuses about this ridiculous delay (supply chain issues, lots of people moving to Austin, etc). I checked a couple of competitors to fix the same issue. Honda was about a week out and Mazda 3 weeks. Other brands have had the same issues to overcome and have done so, but not any of the Hyundai dealers in the Austin, TX area. If I had known booking a service appointment was going to be this big of an ordeal, I never would have bought one. More
