I could not be more pleased with my experience at South Point Hyundai, and more importantly, with my experience with Jason Rinaldi. I live in Houston, but was visiting my brother in Austin last Saturday Point Hyundai, and more importantly, with my experience with Jason Rinaldi. I live in Houston, but was visiting my brother in Austin last Saturday, and we stopped by South Point Hyundai to look at a used Santa Fe I had seen on their website. I also inquired about pricing on a New Santa Fe, as I preferred to buy New (and get the better warranty). Jason was able to work a deal that would put me in the New Vehicle for the SAME price as the used one! Throughout 2 hours of test drives and discussion, Jason was extremely professional - in fact, he is the best salesperson with which either my brother or I have ever dealt. He never pressured me, answered all of my questions and concerns in an unbiased manner, and was extremely skilled at listening (a rare and valuable trait for a salesperson). He focused on my needs rather than his. His quiet, confident manner was a pleasure, and ended up being a significant factor in my ultimate decision. We had to run for a dinner appointment with our wives, and I expected to be pressured to close a deal before leaving. Not only was I NOT pressured, but I was offered the car for the weekend so that I could mull over the decision at my leisure out of the sales environment. After returning to Houston, I spent several days trying to beat South Point's deal at a local Hyundai dealer. I may have succeded, but was so turned off and insulted by the Houston dealer ("Old School" high pressure type), that I decided to buy from Jason instead. Jason closed the deal perfectly and to my benefit. It may sound odd, but I knew that I would be treated more fairly by Jason and South Point. That comfort is worth a lot. On top of everything else, Jason offered to drive the New car to Houston and drive my Jeep Trade-In back to South Point so that I would not have to make a second trip to Austin. If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is. After buying the car over the phone, Jason delivered it to Houston (at no cost to me), and we did the paperwork at my home. Hyundai customers know the value of the Brand, and the Santa Fe (both of which I am extremely pleased with) - my purpose here is to recommend South Point and Jason Rinaldi specifically, and without qualification or reservation. I have already recommended South Point and Jason to several neighbors, and my brother is planning to see them for his next purchase. If you are in the market for a Hyundai, I highly recommend Jason Rinaldi at South Point Hyundai - it was the best decision of my 30 years of car purchasing experiences, and it will be your best decision as well. More
Mark Lockridge, salesman, was extremely professional as was Sonny Nasser, manager of sales at South Point. I visited the dealership multiple times to find the right car for me. I was welcomed by Jeff to take a look at the inventory in store. I was offered a good price and a very good financing offer. The purchase was smooth and hassle free, thanks to Jeff and the rest of the crew at South Point Hyundai. Ron Scott is very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. I was greeted, made to feel welcome, and not one person was an agressive car salesman. Mark and Kyle made financing easy. Rick Hoff went beyond his sales duty to pick me up at the Airport, drive me back to the dealership, go over the entire auto and demonstrate the features of the vehicle. I have bought two cars so far, and both times was just the same thing. Sales man trying to rip me off and me trying to rip them off. I went to south point for my 3rd truck and talked to RICK KING. Best man I've ever delt with when it comes to cars and sales. He was amazing, went out of his way to help us and did above and beyond what a normal sales person would do. He alone made this dealership good for us, and i will go back to him for any cars i need in the future. More
Back in September of 2010, we purchased a 2011 Sonata SE from South Point Hyundai. We were VERY satisfied with the customer service and VERY satisfied with the fair pricing. So, last week I e-mailed 4 diffe from South Point Hyundai. We were VERY satisfied with the customer service and VERY satisfied with the fair pricing. So, last week I e-mailed 4 different Hyundai dealerships in Central Texas. My request was simple; I wanted to know the inventory and pricing of leasing a 2012 Elantra without having to put any money down (besides the first month's payment) South Point Hyundai was the ONLY dealership that gave me exactly what I asked for. Jeff Allen gave me the detailed pricing up front without pressuring us, and me and my wife thought the pricing of the lease was VERY reasonable and fair. Jeff Allen even txted me to make sure I got the e-mail. I called him and he was very polite and knowledgeable of the product. To save me the trip of driving to South Austin from Round Rock, I asked him to send a few pictures of the Elantra I was interested in. Not only did he send me pictures, but he even went out of his way to send a video of the exterior and interior of the vehicle. I had already driven one, so I knew it's exactly what I wanted. Jeff Allen spoke with his sales manager and we came up with a very reasonable deal for the Elantra. I was able to make a deposit over the phone and fax. A few days later (on my day off) I showed up to the dealership and Jeff had the vehicle ready to go. He was very patient while I looked over everything in the car and made sure I was satisfied with the vehicle's interior, exterior and mechanical features. Only after a few minutes of paperwork, I went into finance and the finance manager was very polite, friendly, and fast. We wrapped everything up pretty quick and less than an hour from when I walked in, I was on my way home in the Elantra. By the way, the vehicle is awesome. I've owned 4 Hyundais, a Toyota, an Acura, a Honda, a Mazda, a Volkswagen, a Nissan, and a Ford, and the Elantra, by far, has been my all time favorite. So, we've purchased two vehicles from South Point Hyundai. I honestly don't even know why I had originally e-mailed the other dealerships, because I knew South Point Hyundai was going to have the best inventory and best deals. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Hyundai. More
My wife and I went to Southpoint months ago to look around. I am always prepared for the worst when it comes to buying a new car. I can happily say that this experience was not your typical experience. The staff here was friendly and did not try to push us into something that we could not afford or were not ready for. They let us look around, introduced us to the manager on site and let us walk off the lot with some literature and a short test drive. Months later I contacted them again and talked to Vince (who we felt with before) and we were greeted as if we were there yesterday. He bent over backwards to get me the car I wanted and when he found it he made the purchase quick and easy for me. I could not be happier with the staff here. More
